Family Time

"I hate to break up this family moment but you guys are going to have to sit down. We're taking off" Clint said as he went to the cockpit.
"Sorry about that, Clint" Bucky said as he sat down with Rose and James.
"Can I ask you something?" Rose said to Bucky.
"You just did" Bucky said jokingly.
Rose glared at him.
Bucky sighed, "Sure honey".
"What year is it?" She asked.
"... 2018"
Roses eyes went wide, she started to tear up and panic.
"Hey, just breath" Steve said. He knew what she was going through.
"Holy shit" Rose said trying to calm down.
She put her face is her hands as James looked up at her.
"We'll be there soon, flower" Bucky said to Rose as he put his arm around her, trying to comfort his daughter.
All she could do is nod.

-at the HQ-

"Agh!" Rose yelled as they stuck an IV into her arm. "Is this her?" Sam said as he walked into the medical room.
"That's her" Banner said to Sam
"Hey, I'm Sam. I work for shield" Sam said as he held his hand out.
She shook his hand, "I'm Rose"
"I know, you're all over the news" Sam said as he sat down in a chair beside the hospital bed.
"Is this James?" He asked Rose as he looked at James.
"Yep" Rose said.
"Hey buddy, I'm Sam" Sam said as he held his hand out to James.
James hid behind Rose.
"He's not much of a talker" Tony said as he looked over at Sam.
"Good to know" He paused, "So can you answer the questions?" He said to Rose.
"Sure" Rose said as she put her arm around James.
"If you're not comfortable with answering you can just say 'pass' and we'll move on" Sam said as he opened a huge binder.
"Sounds like a plan" Rose said.
"Alright, First question. Does Hydra have anymore agents like you?" Sam asked.
"Yes" Rose answered.
Sam wrote her answer down in the binder, "Second question, did they do anything to James? Wipe him or put him on missions?" Sam asked.
"No" She answered.
"Did Hydra do anything to you? Wipe you or make you go on missions?" Sam asked.
She didn't answer.
"Rose?" Sam questioned.
"... yes" she said quietly.
"Can you repeat that?" Sam asked.
"Yes" She said again, tearing up as the memories started coming back. Every mission, every kill, every wipe, every single god damn cry for help.
"Kid?" Tony said. Rose jumped, snapping out of her trance.
"You alright?" Tony asked.
"Y-yea" Rose cleared her throat, "I'm fine"
"We can finish this tomorrow if you'd like" Sam offered. "That'll be great" Rose replied.
"Alright, I'll see you two around" Sam said as he said as he stood up and walked out.
"Was that one of the scary men?" James asked is older sister.
"No, no he was a good guy" She said to James.
"Hey guys" Natasha said as she opened the door with two bags in her hands.
"What's that?" Rose asked.
"It's fast food, I thought you two might be hungry from not eating for 70 years" Natasha said as she put the two bags in front of them.
"T-thank you" Rose said, she wasn't use to people being kind to them.
"No problem kid" Nat said as she sat down.
"Is it dangerous?" James asked Rose.
"Nope. Wanna try it?" Rose said with a smile.
James nodded his head with a smile.
Rose passed the paper bag over to James,
"What do you say to Natasha?" She said to James.
"Thank you" James said as he opened step bag.
"No problem" Natasha said with a smile.
She smiled back...

-2 minutes later-

Roses head hung over the toilet as she threw up the food they had just eaten.
"Is she alright?" Natasha asked James. "Tummy is acting up" James said as he played with his toys.

-night-

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when sky's are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you..." Rose couldn't think of the words... again. She sighed and laid down in the hospital bed. She turned and looked over at James, he was sleeping.

-2 hours later-

James jumped up from a nightmare. He sat there for a good 4 minutes drenched in sweat, terrified. He finally turned over and jumped off the bed. He tried to walk but then the IV pulled him back. He took a deep breath "you can do this" he whispered to himself as he ripped out the IV. "Agh!" He yelled. Thankfully Rose was exhausted so she didn't wake up. He held his arm as he walked downstairs and into the main part of the HQ. "Kid?" Steve said as he walked out from the hallway.
James instantly froze, "don't hit me" James said as he hid his face.
"W-what? No, no I would never hit you kid" Steve said as he walked closer to James.
Steve knelt down to match James height, "Why are you holding your arm?" He asked.
James looked up at Steve and showed his arm.
"Let's get a bandage on that, maybe a few" James shook his head.
"After we can watch a movie. You like movies right?" Steve said with a smile.
James nodded.
"Let's go, buddy" Steve said as he picked James up and carried him to the medical room.
"Alright, I'm not very good at this" Steve said as he grabbed bandage wraps and walked over to James.
"Stay still" Steve said as he started wrapping James arm with the bandage wraps.
"And... we are done" Steve said as he grabbed duck tape and taped the bandage wrap so it wouldn't unwind.
James laughed at Steve.
"What?" Steve said as he looked up with a smile.
"You're not suppose to use duck tape" James with a smile.
"Well, that's all I got kid" Steve said as he picked James up.
"Now movie?" James asked Steve with a smile.
"Yea, let's watch a movie" Steve said as he walked to the living room.

-middle of the movie-

Steve was half asleep while James was just patiently watching the movie.
"How are you still awake?" Steve asked as he yawned.
James shrugged his shoulders.

-end of the movie-

Steve looked over to James to see him asleep.
"Finally" Steve said under his breath as he picked him up and carried him back the hospital bed.

-morning-

"Is that duck tape" Rose asked as she put James long hair into a bun. "Mr Rogers did it" James said. Then Rose looked at the IV on the floor, "Can we get a Doctor?!"
