(This is going to be a short chapter! It's just a sneak peek into Roses funeral. Enjoy!)

"...away" Was the last word Rose heard her father speak. As her eyes closed she could see Bucky crying, his eyes filled with tears of gilt...

-funeral-

"Bucky?" Natasha said as she knocked on his door. "Come in" Bucky yelled, his voice still shaky. "Tony talked to the cops, you're safe" Natasha said as she sat beside him on his bed. "Let then take me" Bucky said, looking down. "Hey, you didn't do this" Natasha said trying to comfort her friend. "THEN WHO DID IT?!" Bucky shouted with anger as he stood up. Natasha sat there in shock. "ANSWER ME NATALIA!" Bucky shouted again, returning to her original name. "Bucky, calm down" Natasha said with a little fear in her voice. Bucky wiped his face with his hands as he teared up. "I-I'm Sorry Nat" Bucky said, his voice shaking again. "Come here" Natasha said as she stood up and hugged Bucky.

"Buddy! Are you ready?" Steve said as James walked downstairs. "When is Rose coming back?" James asked as he walked up to Steve. James still never understood death due to Rose telling him that "Nobody ever dies". "L-let's go. It's starting" Steve said as he picked up James and carried him outside to the funeral. Soon Natasha and Bucky went outside, then Banner, then Thor, then Clint along with Sam and Tony. Then Fury, with Hill.
"Rose isn't coming back, is she?" James asked as he looked up at his father. "She isn't gone buddy, she'll always be right here" Bucky said with tears in his eyes as he pointed to where James heart is. James smiled as tears formed in his eyes. "Is scary men going to come for us?" James asked his father. "No, never again" Bucky said as he looked up. "Promise?" James asked, again. "Promise" Bucky said, his voice starting to get shaky again...
"Hey buddy" Ellie said as she walked up to James. "Who are you?" Bucky asked. "I'm Ellie, I met Rose in the toy shop" Ellie said with a smile. "She told me about you" Bucky said as he realized who she was. "Ellie!" James said with a smile. "I got this for ya" Ellie said as she gave him a ninja figurine. James took the toy and walked over to Roses casket. He knelt down and whispered "Thank you". Then he walked back to his father and Ellie. "What was that about, pal?" Bucky asked his son. "I said thank you" James said as he looked up at his dad. Bucky smiled at his son. Then, they started sending the casket into the water, letting it float away. Bucky watched his daughters body slowly float away in the casket. Through his tears he managed to get out two words...
"Goodbye flower"

• Ok I swear this is the last chapter! Btw, there's a second book! That's correct, in this book Rose didn't die but instead lives out her life, but then it all goes south when someone *Cough* Zemo *cough* Frames her for a crime, now she has to go on the run with the help from her new friends. Look for "Winter Assassin2" it has the same cover just with a two in the middle
