Adam's POV My mom asked to see the person who hurt our friend. Vi showed her to her house and opened the door. Her father was standing in the living room obviously drunk. I felt bad for her she had to deal with this every day. "Why would you hurt such an innocent person?!!!" My mom almost yelled at her father. "ShEs A mIsTaKe." Her father said. "NO, SHE'S NOT, SHES A VERY KIND, LOVING, PERSON!!!" I yelled at him. "Stay out of this sweetie." My mom told me. "Let's go let's leave this to mom and VI's dad." I whispered to Justin. He nodded at me. Then whispered to Vi, "Let's go." She just simply nodded. We went back to the park but Justin(my crush) had to go home I must have looked disappointed cuz Vi asked me if I was ok. I told her about my crush on Justin. She looked at me and said, "ship." "What's a ship?" I asked her. "It's nothing." She told me. My mom came back about 5 minutes later with a small backpack. She told Vi that she was now adopted by her and we were siblings. "Sick." Vi stated. "Awesome!!!" I almost yelled. We walked to my house I had a bunk bed so we slept in the same room we decided to tell Justin the good news tomorrow. The next day Today we went up to Justin and he looked really cute he had his giant, cute smile I must have been staring because Justin went up to me and asked if I was ok. "I'm fine Justie." I used the nickname he always told me to use but never did. "You used my nickname!!!" He squealed. Vi cut in "are you guys gonna kiss now or what?" I blushed bright red. I saw Justin's face go red as well 'he wouldn't like me it's probably just embarrassment.' I thought to myself. "Oh, I thought... Sorry". Vi said. "It's ok, Vi. You didn't know." I told her. "If you say so..." Vi mumbled. "Hey, Justie we have something to tell you!" I told Justin. "Hmmm?" He simply said. "So Vi got adopted-" I started. "Really by who!!. Justin interrupted. "By my family, so we're basically siblings!!!!" I practically shouted. "That's awesome!!!!!!" Justie yelled. then we heard a whimper beside us and we saw Vi covering her head with her arms and in a ball on the ground. "are you ok Vi?" Justin asked her. " too... much.... yelling." she mumbled out after a few seconds. "OMG, we're so sorry." Justin and I said in sync. she just looked at us. we looked at her with concern.
