Chase Collins

This is a soulmate AU where when you come into physical contact with your soulamte you get a rush of electricity flow through the both of you.

My fraternal twin brother Caleb has decided that it was okay to bring an insider into our family someone who can easily be used as leverage if anything bad ever happened. 

Well, that bad thing is happening and his name is Chase Collins, or should i say Chase Pope. 

FLASHBACK

"Y/N where's your brother?" Kate asked me pulling me from the daze of the fire. "I don't fucking know I'm not his keeper." I sighed. "Just because I'm older by twelve minutes doesn't mean I'm his babysitter Kate." I took a swig of the beer i was holding and looked around when i caught the eyes of someone i had never seen before. "Hey Sarah, who's that?" i asked. She looked over my shoulder to the mystery man. "Chase Collins, he just transferred here last week." Kate chimed in. "Thanks Sarah i appreciate the informaton." I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes.

"There's my baby brother!" i yelled as he walked towards me with an annoyed look on his face. "You know I'm only twelve minutes younger than you." He states. "And don't you ever forget it!" i laughed.

There they are again, those blue eyes. He's like a ghost almost.

"So, how about we get this party started!" Kate yelled.  Everyone cheered and walked towards the fire and began to dance, including me. We danced and laughed for an hour. My brother made googly eyes at Sarah the entire time, that sight made me sick. Never been the lovey dovey type, don't think i ever will be. "Hey." I turn to my left and find Chase with a big smile on his face. "Hello." I said shyly. "I'm Chase, Chase Collins." He held out his hand for me to shake, I looked down at his hand then up at him. "Y/N." i said without taking his hand giving him a wicked smile. "Hey everyone listen up!" The music stopped, looking up to the stage to see what the hell was going on. "We just got wind that there are police headed this way!" Shit. I thought. "Listen, I'll meet you guys back at the dorms okay?" I told Kate and Sarah. "I thought you didn't have a ride?" Sarah said rushing up the hill of sand. "Nah I got my emergency bike, i stashed it here yesterday just in case. I'm good." I said waving her off. Going through the woods i finally catch up with my brother. "Caleb, be careful. I have a bad feeling about, I don't know what just, be careful, please. For my sake." I asked grabbing his forearm. He looked back at me and smiled. "Yes Mom." he laughed. I walked behind some bushes and removed the branches on my mo tor bike and grabbed my helmet from the ground and got on. "Y/N! Mind if i ride with you?" I look up through my helmet. "Yeah hurry up and get on Chase." I kicked the peg out from under as Chase got on.

He grabbed my arm and i felt a surge of electricity go through me. My eyes flickered black. Soulmates. Shit, shit, shit!  I didn't want to find my soulmate so fucking early and now look where I am.

"Y/N?" I didn't answer, we just sped off, cursing this soulmate bullshit. 

END FLASHBACK

 Our birthday was just fifteen minutes away and we would accend. Well my birthday "time" anyways. I was born at exactly at 11:00pm my brother at 11:12pm. We had began our way to the barn, and yes I told Caleb about Chase. He told me he wouldn't do anything unless he gave him no other choice.  

"Chase!" I yelled. I looked around finding nothing and no one until i laid my eyes upon Sarah in her dress floating above a wooden table. "I didn't know if you would come, so, i took out a little insurance policy." He gave us a sly smirk from the rafters. "Chase this is madness!" I had a distant stare, I dare not even look at him. My soulmate is a monster to say the least, wanting my brothers powers because he was the stronger of the pair of us. A little sexist if you ask me. I looked back to Sarah my eyes swelling up with tears, she wasn't supposed to get wrapped up in this, nobody was. 

Why he was willing to wait twenty-seven minutes for my brother was a mystery to me. "Madness? No my dear Y/N, my girl." He faltered and his eyes softened when he spoke of me or even looked at me. Caleb looked back at me and I looked to him. "What?" I asked,  Caleb didn't say anything. "I'm here that's what you wanted. Now let Sarah go!" He demanded. "Oh it's not that easy Caleb, first you give me what i came here for, your powers." Chase snapped. "Then, I'll think about letting her go." He snarled. 

Caleb was the first to attack, I tried to stay out of the way then I made my way to Sarah and got her out of the barn. You see Chase and I had something going for a few weeks at the beginning. It was amazing, he was quite the gentleman, I will admit i fell in love with the man within those three weeks, he's my soulmate, I will either hate him or love him. I felt in different in this moment, him and my brother fighting. Caleb obviously losing.

Then it happened.

I screamed bloody murder bringing both of the boys away from their fight to the back of the barn. Light engulfed me and entered my body it felt as though i was being torn apart atom by atom, cell by cell. It was an excruciating pain surging through my body. I saw a glimpse of my future. There was a child, and someone with dark hair and... those blue eyes i knew all too well.

I fell to the ground with a thud. Caleb came rushing to my side. "Y/N? Are you okay?" he asked very worried. "Twelve minutes and you get to experience that." I laughed. Chase walked over to me looking between me and Caleb. "Your, twins?" He asked shell shocked running his hands through his hair. "Yes, we're twins Chase. I thought I told you." He dropped to his knees and hunched over. I stood up and walked over to him and put my hand on his shoulder. "Chase." He pushed me away with his powers. "If that's the case, you will give me your powers, submit to me love." He spat and kept attacking me and i kept taking it absorbing it I looked at Caleb and told him to stand down. I walked towards him slowly, just as i was in arms length of him, he gathered all of his energy and sent me flying into the barn.

I landed on my feet and looked up at him with fire in my eyes and in my hand and threw it at him hitting him in the shoulder. "What was that?" He asked wide eyed. "She was gifted with the powers of the elements. It only happens once every thousand years, You keep fighting her Chase... You will lose." Caleb said. They both looked back at me, I was floating in the air with the earth floating with me my eyes glowing and orange hue. "This is the end Chase," I came down from my perch and walked towards him. He was frightened I could see it in his eyes, his beautiful eyes. "Chase look at me." I held both sides of his face in my hands. "You don't have to do this, It doesn't help anyways just ask our father. He's tried." I looked at my brother my eyes filled with sorrow. "You can change, it's just like coming down from a drug addiction. And I'll be there to help you along the way." I put his forehead to mine and let my hands drop to his shoulders. "What makes you want to help a lost cause like me?" He asked pleadingly. "Because you and I are meant to be according to the dickwads beyond the stars." I laughed. "And in these last few weeks you've managed to get me to fall in love with you. And i saw us together with a child." His head snapped away from mine looking at me as though he saw a ghost. "A... child?" I smiled at him. "Yes, and they looked just like you." I smiled again this time it reached my eyes.

"I love you Chase, please knock it off." I joked and he laughed. He walked back to me and cupped my face and crashing his lips to mine and we all went home.
