Fucking Hell~Bucky Barnes

"We have to get the stone out of Vision before Thanos gets here." I said to Shuri as we made our way up the stairs with him. "You think I don't know that?" I rolled my eyes. "Damn no need to bite my head off Shuri." We take a glance at each other and smile as Vision is set on the table.

"Yes but there are more than two trillion neurons here, one misalignment could cause a cascade of circuit failures. It will take time brother." As Shuri explains what she has to do I pull Steve to the side. "They're coming and you know it, they won't stop until they get the stone." Steve stares out the window with his arms crossed. With no reply I continue my thoughts. "My sister and I could help but I know she won't leave his side. I- I know what you're going to say but-"

"You, little miss are going to stay here with your sister." We turn to see Bucky walking towards us with a gun in his hands. "Bucky I can help, and both of you know it! Why won't you let me fight?" I was basically pleading with them now, its something I don't normally do. "Y/n just stay here I don't want to lose you." He gets close to me but not close enough to engulf him in a hug. Steve walks off to talk to T'Challa about something. You see Bucky and I had an argument about a month and a half ago about the silliest little thing.

I was sitting on our couch in our shared bedroom when Bucky came flying through the door and into the bathroom to take a shower, once he had came out I asked him what crawled up his ass and died. "I haven't had the best day y/n, the last thing I need is you bitching at me." My eyes grew wide at him as I put my book on the table next to the chair. "Excuse me? You wanna run that by me again?" I was pissed to say the least. I began to swirl my powers around my fingers as my temper rose. "I've had enough of people finding reasons to bitch and complain at me today."

"Oh so you thought I was just gonna yell at you is that it?" I began flicking my rubber band on my wrist trying to calm myself. "Like you're doing right now yeah!" I flick my finger at him and he hits the wall behind him. "Fuck you James! I am not everyone else!" I walked closer to him and noticed his head was bleeding. "Oh my god Bucky I am so sor-"

"Just get the hell out of here you fucking cunt! Learn to control your fucking temper!" He yelled. My heart shattered as my eyes began to well up with tears, I walk over to the sliding glass door and open it. "Fuck this. Two broken people can't fix each other after all." I flew off the balcony and into a small village nearby where I lived until today.

I came back to reality by the sound of someone tapping on the glass window. "Y/n?" I look to my left to see Bucky with his eyes bloodshot like he'd been crying for days and bags under his eyes like he hasn't slept since in months. "What do you want James?" Crossing my arms and facing him. I am quickly brought into a tight hug.

"I'm so sorry for what I said that day, I know I can't take it back now and an apology won't fix it but listen to me just for a second." My arms went slack as he pulled away from our embrace. "Not a day has gone by that I wasn't thinking about you y/n. I wish I had just hung up my ego by the door and went out to look for you. I don't think I've slept but maybe a day since you left, I had no right to speak to you that way doll, no matter what kind of day I had. You are the most amazing person I have ever met, you got me to open up more than Steve ever thought of doing. My god Y/n, I fucking love the shit out of you." Bucky's hand cupped my cheek and brushed away a lone tear rolling down my cheek. "I- I love you too Bucky, I love you so much!" Then we kissed, the kiss was that of loneliness and longing to be near each other again. It had a heat behind it that I never felt before. Only it was interrupted by T'Challa.

"And get this man a shield."

Time skip brought by a Falcon plushie.

"How are we doing up there ladies?" Steve spoke through his earpiece. "Don't rush perfection Captain." Shuri told him as Wanda and I were pacing back and forth through her lab. "Quit your pacing, it's distracting." We stopped and I looked out the window to see the barrier opening and just stared. Wanda walks next to me and sees whats going on as everyone begins their decent towards the enemy. "Shuri you better hurry the fuck up." I see these circular machines hurling their way towards everyone. "Someone has to go down there and help." Wanda looks at me with pleading eyes. "Go I'll guard Vision." I give my sister a weak smile as she makes her way out of the lab.

After a few minutes the doors to the lab are blown open and one of Thanos' children step out just as Shuri blasts him into the wall to complete whatever the fuck it is she was doing. I began hitting him with everything I had to keep him down. "Shuri! Get that ass moving!" Levitating in the air my eyes glowing sapphire blue trying to keep that thing from moving. I look down at Shuri and see she is almost done when I'm hit by a blast from the spear he was holding. "We didn't account for you little pest." He was about to kill me until Vision sent both of them out the window.

"Uhh, guys we have a problem."

"What kind of problem?" Steve responded

"Vision just sent himself and that alien guy out the window to the ground level!" I yelled. I heard a couple muttered curse words before Steve talked clearly. "Y/n get down here." I couldn't help but smile, this Thanos guy was about to get his ass handed to him now that myself and Wanda are going to be out on that battlefield." "Roger that Cap."

As I land I look to my right and see that Thor had just arrived with a raccoon and a tree and to my left I saw Natasha and Okoye fighting some blue alien woman. I rush to help them and almost get hit by one of the rotating wheels of death. "Not today bitch, remember me?" I stand there in front of Wanda who's laid out on the ground. "Who are you supposed to be?" I started to levitate above the ground my eyes glowing blue once again.

"Sapphire Witch, nice to kill ya." I send her flying into her own death trap and her blood splatters across Okoye and Natasha. "Gross." Nat spits out what was caught in her mouth. "Like wise." Okoye retorts. "I'd love to chat guys but someone has to get to Vision before Thanos does." Wanda flies off into the trees and leaves the rest of us to fight off these alien dog hybrids. "Okoye!" A massive dog jumped towards her, as she fell to the ground I grabbed the dog and split it open and threw it at the heard coming our way.

Out of the corner of my eye I see a flash of red followed by a scream. "Wanda!" I yell as I fly past the carnage below me. Flying as fast as I could I see Wanda with her arms out stretched trying to destroy the stone and keep Thanos at bay. I assist as best I can pushing Thanos back even further. "You destroy the stone, I got this." As we stand back to back and give everything we got into destroying what's in front of us Thanos eventually grabs my arms and locks me in a chokehold just as the stone shatters into a million pieces. He throws me into a nearby tree and stalks over to Wanda and grabs her by the arms forcefully breaking her back in the process. "Wanda!" I scream, I look up to see time reversed and Vision kneeling in front of us. I rush to Wanda's side and try to mend her spine. "You bastard!" With all of my strength I raise Thanos in the air and begin ripping of his armor just before Thor's axe inbeds itself into his chest and he drops to the ground.

"I told you that you would pay for what you did."

Thanos mumbles.

"What?" Thor questions.

"You should've aimed for the head."

He snaps his fingers, I have to shield my eyes from the light and for a second after he vanishes, everything stands still. "G-Guys?" I squeaked into the comms. No one said a word it was like time itself had taken a breath and was holding it. I look down at my sister who winces in pain and as her face relaxes I watch her turn to dust all I could do was scream as tears slowly streamed down my face. "WANDA NO! OH GOD!" Bucky came rushing to my side. "Babygirl its okay, everythi-" I shift into his open arms and sob, Steve walks behind him with a frown on his face. "He won. The bastard won." I shift to my knees and continue to sob when my weight shifts to the ground. "Bucky?" I let in a shakey breath. "S-Steve. Where'd he go?" Steve doesn't respond his head is hung low as his Wakandan shields drop to the ground. I look down at Bucky's ashes on the ground and feel anger well up inside of me.

I let out a blood curdling scream and a surge of energy rushes through me to the ground, pushing everyone at least five yards away from me.

I just lost the only man who ever loved me.

Or so I thought.
