~Alexander's POV~

"Ugh, I forgot my water in the kitchen." She says, obviously still thirsty. I try to get up to go get it for her but, she stops me, and lifts her hand towards the kitchen. She makes the bottle levitate to her, and I notice something. Her veins grew dimmer the moment she started to use her power. "Wait," I say, "Do that again. Make something levitate over here." I tell her and she quirks at me, "why?" - "Just do it, and I'll explain." I tell her, and she shrugs, and makes another water bottle float out of the kitchen, and it happens again.

"Oh my god." I say, smiling. "What? What is it?" She asks and I roll up her sleeve, and I tell her to do it again but, I tell her to look at her veins as she does. She does it and they grow even dimmer, "Holy shit." She mutters, "Cameron! Get down here!" She calls for her uncle, and I can already hear him coming.

~Natalie's POV~

"What? What is it?" He asks, "Before my brothers and I saved you, did your veins get dimmer every time you used your abilities?" I ask, and he quirks and shakes his head. "No, not at all. D-Did yours?" He asks, and I nod. I make another water levitate from the fridge. He watches my veins and takes the water when I float it to him. "Okay, before just now, when was the last time you used your abilities?" He asks me, and I try to remember.

And then it hits me. That morning, where Tobias had to help me wrangle my kids. I floated my sons lunch box back up, and that was the last time I've used it, until now. Three days. "Three days ago." I answer, and it's like my uncle was having an epiphany. "I've seen this before." He states, beginning to pace and think.

"Back before you all took my siblings abilities, I had visions of you. Solely just of you. Veins like solid gold bricks, with eyes just the same. And for some reason, I was watching you ...fight someone. Someone we all know wouldn't fight you." He says, and I quirk at him. "Who?" I ask, and he looks behind me and Alex, and points. "Him." He says, and I turn around to see my husband. "What?" Both my husband and I say in unison, looking at one another and then back at him. "I never said anything because ever since Liam took the rest of my Precognition ability, the memory of all my visions are a little fuzzy. But I know what I saw, and I think I know what needs to happen." He says, looking at me mainly. "You need to use those abilities of yours. That's all it is." He says, obviously in relief.

"It can't just be that easy." I say, and he smiles at me. "Oh just for you, my dear, it is. I think I may know why you're still the only divergent that claims all five of the factions." He says, and I start to get why he's so excited. "You can absorb as much power as you want, as long as you use them. Everyday. I think that's why he was fighting you! I'm not sure though. I would be if I had my favorite ability back." He explains, and I look down at my hands. "So you mean to tell us," Christian starts up, coming in behind my husband. "She's gonna be fine, and all she has to do to keep being fine, is use her powers?" He asks, and his father shrugs, "There's only one way to find out."

My husband stops the truck, and everyone hops out. I look up and beside me, at the fifteen foot wall surrounding the city. The plan is to get over it, or, in this case, have me get everyone over it. Unless my youngest cousin can help me of course. "Carter. You ready?" I ask him, and he smirks at me, "Are you?" He questions back, just as everyone stands in between us.

He nods to me, and I nod back, slamming my fist onto the earth beneath us. Like I've done once before, I crack an oval of earth around everyone, having Carter and I be the only ones near the edge. We look at one another, and we synchronize in using our shared ability. We lift the slab of earth together, up and over the wall, swiftly. And it felt good.
