paradise lost in your eyes (mikey way x male reader)

I'm alone for about an hour, trying to distract myself before Mikey FaceTimes me. I can't wait to see his cute face again and be able to talk for as long as we can. This hour seems to be dragging, as it's only been about ten minutes since he left and it already feels like so long. I just wish I could stay with him forever.

Just before the hour is up, my phone starts to buzz.

Incoming FaceTime: Mikes 💞

I quickly answer the phone and upon seeing his face, I grin from ear to ear.
"Hi!" He says, smiling as well.
"Hello!" I reply, "how was the ride home?"
"Oh it was fine, just listening to some music and stuff. How was the wait?"
"Eh, time seems to drag when I'm not with you. Speaking of that, can I come over to yours on Tuesday?"
"Of course! I'd love to have you over here again. Do you want to sleep over?"
"Definitely! Oooh I'm excited now!" I say, I haven't stopped grinning since we started the all and neither has he.
"Same same."

We talk for a while, it's getting late and I'm yawning quite a bit. I don't want to have to leave the call because I enjoy spending time with him so much but I guess I'll have to at some point.

"I think I'll have to sleep soon," I say, frowning.
"Me too, I have a question though." He replies.
"Go ahead!"
"Wanna sleep on call?"
"Of course! my phone will probably die but that sounds great!"

We both get ready for bed, still talking. Soon, we're both in bed in the dark, chatting about random stuff and how much we miss each other. Our chats quieten down and we close our eyes, slipping into a nice sleep. It's so comforting having him there even if he's not there physically. Only a few days until I can see him again though.
