CLOTHING STYLE:
⇒ Hippie style clothing. Very funky bright T Shirts. He sometimes wears clothes that are very non conforming so it's not abnormal to see him wearing guy liner, platform boots and fish nets. He doesn't care what people think about him sort of cross dressing, he doesn't think clothes are gendered. Pretty ahead of his time.

SEXUALITY:
⇒ Bisexual
⇒ Surprisingly open about it, he's quite an open book and is very gender non conforming however he knows it's frowned upon.
⇒ He found out when he found himself having a crush on a guy last year and he fell in love with him. It took him a while to accept his sexuality but he's at peace with it now.

PERSONALITY:
⇒ Marty is a fun-loving boy who definitely has a hedonistic lifestyle- hence him being the stoner kid. He has often rebelled against his family who are a higher class by him being a drug addict and a hippie.
His opinions on things often are dismissed and not many people take him seriously due to him being addicted to drugs (why he's addicted is in his backstory!). He has a deeper insight to things than people assume. He acts quite silly and is always high which is why people don't listen to him but sometimes he just wishes he could be sober and people would listen.

Marty often teases people, he loves to annoy them and he's constantly coming out with something random. He is constantly making comments on situations and he seems to not be able to take things seriously. He always makes jokes and has a very weird sense of humour. He finds it easier to laugh than to dwell on anything from the past. To say he's always making jokes he's VERY easy to get along with. People either take his humour as loveable or just annoying. If he cares about you he genuinely will have your best interest at heart.

Marty is also quite gender non conforming. He believes that clothes and products are just that. He's ahead of his time and doesn't think that 'some clothes belong to boys and some belong to girls'. Nope. He will wear whatever the hell he wants.
This adds to his weird stoner kid, hippie, random vibe.

He's generally quite a positive and funny person to be around. He might surprise people with how good he can actually be with advice if something is serious.

Over time he's grown thick skin and he really doesn't care what people think about his addiction. He doesn't care about people's opinions on him at all really. He's a VERY open book and not scared to be himself at all.

BACKSTORY:
⇒ Marty surprisingly has a pretty good home life. His parents are a bit snobby but other than that they have never been bad to him or brought him up badly.
They expect quite highly of him and have no idea that all of his money goes towards drugs and alcohol. He knew if they ever found out they would be extremely disappointed and he would probably be dead meat.

Marty got addicted to drugs at the age of fourteen. He has quite bad anxiety and depression and when someone told him that drugs could elevate all that he tried them. He started on less dangerous drugs and slowly his addiction got worse and worse to the point now where he relies on it and can't not be high. He's tried to sober up but he's way too reliant now so his withdrawals were so bad that he can't stop.

He has such a good sense of humour and is always so happy because his mind has come to believe that the drugs are the only thing that can keep him that way.
He doesn't like to ponder on the past which is why he covers up anything bad with a joke or a stupid comment.
Due to him being a drug addict for a fairly long time now, he knows the best dealer and people often come to him when they need to know about a good dealer...

STEREOTYPE:
⇒ Stoner kid.
⇒ Outcast. He doesn't have many friends but he literally knows everyone in some way wether that is through the hallways or from them being in his classes.

CLASS:
⇒ His family is extremely rich, people may not expect it from looking at him but where else do you think he gets his drug money?

RELATIONSHIP STATUS:
⇒ Single
⇒ He was in love with a boy, the boy that made him realise he was a bisexual that heavily leant towards men. He and this guy fell in love but this guy broke his heart. He didn't want to be seen with Marty due to him being the hippie stoner kid and he also didn't want people to see him with another boy.
Marty found this out after over a year of falling in love with him. The guy left easily but Marty was shattered. He now feels like if he falls in love again, the person is going to be ashamed to be seen with him.
⇒ Very scared to fall in love again due to his first love shattering his heart...
