PERSONALITY:

⤷ FOCUSED & INTELLEGANT 
Ruel is definitely smart, that is clear enough- it's also the reason he is in Ravenclaw, obviously... He is very focused on his goals and on his school work, he wants to be successful and he doesn't plan on anything getting in the way of that. He isn't one to get involved in petty drama, however he is known to wind people up. He's smart, he knows how to push peoples buttons and he finds it amusing- but actually arguments? He'll probably have some sort of comeback ad then roll his eyes and ignore the person, but most arguments are quite amusing to him... Again, he likes winding people up from time to time.

⤷ BLUNT/SARCASTIC 
He is a very sarcastic person, depending on who he is speaking to, he often cannot give a straight answer to save his life. Most people just tend to annoy him, so he's either blunt or sarcastic. Sometimes his sarcasm is completely uncalled for, he's aware that it makes him look like a d*ck but he genuinely just doesn't care. It's normal for him to be blunt with pretty much everyone, he's a bit of a lone wolf, it's nothing personal. He just is a blunt person. He tends to speak more when he's interested in a conversation/person or when he cares for someone.

⤷ ARROGANT 
He can come across as quite arrogant, cocky- maybe even narcissistic sometimes. It is partially a front that he has put up however it is also just how he is at times. He is aware of it but once again he doesn't care. He is aware of how smart he is and he isn't afraid to admit it either, he doesn't need someone to tell him he's smart- he knows! Apparently that makes him arrogant but, take from it what you will. He's also pretty careless when it comes to peoples opinions, unless he actually values someone's opinion for whatever reason...

⤷ CALM 
Ruel is a very calm person, he can be known for pushing peoples buttons and being cocky however he is extremely calm about it all. He very rarely raises his voice, he isn't someone to get in a fight- he's surprisingly the one who tends to break up fights, especially at things like Quidditch matches. He can be immature at times however overall he is normally extremely mature. People arguing and fighting usually annoys him so he will try break it up in one way or another. Ruel is known for being very laid back, sometimes he's too calm- like in situations he probably shouldn't be calm in. If something genuinely winds him up though, yeah- he will probably go off.

⤷ PESSIMISTIC 
He likes to think of himself as realistic however he can be very pessimistic. He's far from optimistic, he thinks optimism can make people weak. They'll just end up getting hurt by something that could have been avoidable, he prefers to just take note of everything that could possibly go wrong.

⤷ CHARMING 
As much as Ruel can be cocky and blunt, some people oddly find him quite charming. There's something about him that draws certain people in, maybe it's because his walls are up so high. Something attracts certain people to him, maybe there's more behind the teasing and the smirks- or maybe Ruel Webb is just genuinely a pr*ck... Who knows?

BRIEF BACKSTORY:
⤷ Ruel comes from a family with a long line of Slytherins. Yes, he is incredibly smart but he actually has a lot more traits like ambition and being sly which align more with Slytherin. It was quite a surprise to him and his family when he was sorted into Ravenclaw, they weren't particularly happy about it either. His family is strict, they are quite high up in the ministry. His home life isn't the worst however his parents are strict and he isn't close with them at all. It was disappointing enough that he was sorted into Ravenclaw, he has to prove himself. He's smart and he can get somewhere- his house doesn't define anything- does it? Ruel has some desperate urge to prove himself to his parents, he doesn't talk about his family and as much as he isn't close to them he still seeks their validation, even if they aren't the best people...
