NOTE: Tristan De Martel deserves no rights. That's all I have to say today. 🦋💛

       —————————————————————

What the hell was Lucien doing here? Sarah didn't care to find out, not after he'd unnecessarily daggered Elijah. She quickly stood, his question going into one ear and out of the other. Elijah was more important, but before Sarah could take a single step closer to his body Lucien was appearing closer, grabbing Sarah by the throat.

"You seem to overestimate just how much your pathetic life means to me."

Normally, Sarah was much too afraid to even entertain the thought of fighting back against Lucien, but all it took was one look at Elijah's body on the ground for her to find that courage.

She quickly muttered a paralysis spell, Lucien's body unable to move when Sarah freed herself from his hold.

"And you seem to underestimate how powerful I am."

Once again, Sarah was attempting to pull the dagger out of Elijah's chest, this time interrupted by Tristan
appearing behind her and injecting her with something that had her feeling weak, until she had blacked out completely.

When she woke up on the ground, Elijah's body was gone and she was in a different room; in the main area of the compound.

"Ah, look who finally decided to open her eyes!" Klaus called out as he walked over to Sarah, Rebekah and Kol close behind him.

"Tell me where my brother is and your death with be a swift one," he added.

"Leave the poor girl alone, Nik. She wouldn't harm Elijah," Rebekah interrupted.

".. She's right, I don't know where he is. But.. Lucien, he's behind this. He daggered Elijah before I could do anything about it.."

Sarah couldn't believe she hadn't done more to help the man she loved. She'd never felt so.. useless, and now Elijah could be suffering because of her.

"I swear, I don't know anything else."

"Then you're of no use to me," Klaus said as he stepped closer with the intent to kill, only for Sarah to wave a hand and send him flying across the, his body harshly colliding with one of the walls. When he quickly got up and raced towards her, Sarah easily snapped his neck with a flick of her wrist.

"No one is killing me until I rip Lucien's heart out and find Elijah. If I have to do it alone, then fine. I will."

"I like this one!" Kol said, laughing a bit. "That was quite the speech, darling, but I'm late for a date. I'm certain Elijah is fine."

"You're leaving when this family needs you the most?" Rebekah questioned, only for Kol to continue walking and eventually leave the compound.

The blonde rolls her eyes, eventually focusing her attention on Sarah.

"Seems it's just the two of us," she says as she approached Sarah, stepping over Klaus' body. "What's the plan, then?"

Sarah glanced down at Klaus, "Kill Klaus and let Lucien die with him?"

"Wouldn't that be a treat? I'm afraid I couldn't allow that. Marcel's fate is tied to Nik's as well, and he promised me a trip to France. I've heard it's even more beautiful the millionth time visiting."

"If we had the time, I'd bombard you with questions. I've always wanted to visit Paris," Sarah replied with a soft smile, though it began to fade when reality set back in. They had to deal with their Lucien problem.
