"HYUNJIN YOU'RE GOING," Sooyoung yelled as she pinned Hyunjin down on the bed.

"NO," Hyunjin yelled back, ripping Sooyoung's arms off her.

An entire year pasted. Hyunjin tried to convince herself that she'd move on, but deep down she knew not a single thing had changed. The girl of the name Jeon Heejin, still latched onto her mind.

As of now, she was entering her final year of school, living with Sooyoung and Jungeun in an fairly large apartment that Hyunjin mostly paid for. Her life was seen as 'comfortable living', yet she never truly felt at home.

"I'm not trying to get out of doing something this time. I really can't go," Hyunjin said. "I don't want to see her."

"Hyunjin c'mon, you haven't talk to her in ages. I'm sure she's moved on by now," Sooyoung said.

The two cut off contact once Heejin left to Europe. Not even a single word had been said to eachother. Hyunjin respected Heejin's request of not talking to one another even if it hurt her to the bones.

"You're not slick, I know you just wanna see Jiwoo," Hyunjin said, glaring at Sooyoung.

"I don't wanna see her, she has a girlfriend. A girlfriend that's not me," Sooyoung said, mumbling the last sentence.

"Exactly, so you know why I don't want to go either," Hyunjin said.

It was no surprise that Jiwoo found somebody else during the year she was abroad. The surprise? That somebody was Heejin. The two had gotten surprisingly close in a short amount of time, and both being raging lesbians, it was only a matter of time until they got together.

"It's just a gathering before school starts up again," Sooyoung said. "You should go, at least just to see your other friends."

"I don't need to see anyone, we all live in the same neighborhood," Hyunjin said. "Plus, I have work."

"Don't lie to me, you don't work everyday," Sooyoung said, getting under Hyunjin's blanket.

"Yes I do, who do you think pays every bill in this house?" Hyunjin remarked. "Exactly, me. I do, I pay for all your expenses so you don't have to keep paying your debt in you're 50's."

From working as Head Waiter for dinner services every other night at one of Seoul's top restaurants, to working most afternoons as library assistant at school, Hyunjin was busy most of the time for a good reason. She knew about Sooyoung and Jungeun's struggle with money, so she wanted to be nice for once and let them finish their schooling debt free. It also kept her occupied, so she didn't spiral too deep into her thoughts.

"My shift ends late tomorrow," Hyunjin said.

"But you could still go," Sooyoung said. "Please~ I don't wanna go alone."

"The fuck do you mean 'alone'? Jungeun's going," Hyunjin said.

"....I'm older than you, you have to listen to me," Sooyoung said.

"Huh? You can't just say tha-" Hyunjin started to say.

"I, Ha Sooyoung am asking you, Kim Hyunjin, who is younger, to accompany me," Sooyoung declared.

"That's not-" Hyunjin started to say. "Fine. Pruney ass bitch."

"Great, it's tomorrow and you know the location right?" Sooyoung said.

"Mhm, now leave before-" Hyunjin started to say, stopping once she saw Jungeun's head pop in.

"Were having a sleepover?" Jungeun whispered.

"No-" Hyunjin said.

"Yes," Sooyoung cut in with her arms wide open.

In a matter of seconds, Jungeun jumped onto Hyunjin's bed. Having enough, Hyunjin went to get ready for the night.

Walking back to her room, Hyunjin was met with a cuddling Sooyoung and Jungeun on her bed, taking up the middle.

"Unbelievable- I hate living with you guys," Hyunjin said, lying down on the very corner of her bed.

Grabbing her phone, she went to her voicemails and rolled to her side. She listened to the voicemail Heejin sent all those months back, like she always did.

"You're still listening to that?" Sooyoung said.

"That's not healthy," Jungeun said.

"I know," Hyunjin said, biting her fist like always. "It's punishment for fucking up with her."

"That's depressing," Jungeun said. "Anyways, night."

Hyunjin woke up tangled in the middle of a still sleeping Sooyoung and Jungeun. Removing herself, she prepared for the day ahead.

Walking onto the bus, Hyunjin sat at the very back and put on her earbuds. She blasted music, staring out the window as she headed to the university. Listening to the music, she felt as if she was brought to a whole new world. A world where she was main character living her best life with no worries.

"Is this seat taken?" A voice asked, shocking Hyunjin out of her daydream.

Taking out her earbuds, Hyunjin turned to face the person.

"It's all your-" Hyunjin started to say. "No way."

She was met with a shiny black haired girl, a small grin on her face as she sat down on the empty seat. At first, Hyunjin had trouble figuring out who the girl was, but she could recognize that smile anywhere. It was none other than Jung Jinsoul.

"It's been a while, how've you been?" Hyunjin asked. "I can't remember the last time we saw eachother."

"I'm fine for the most part, and it was months ago when Jungeun and I were still you know," Jinsoul said.

A while, indeed it was. The last time Hyunjin had even seen Jinsoul was the night where she came over, and the biggest breakup of the century happened. Long story short, Jinsoul had been cheating on Jungeun for the past few months and that night was the night where she finally figured it out.

"I know I don't have the right to even know anything anymore, but how is she?" Jinsoul asked, tightly holding the hem of her shirt.

"She was a mess for a few weeks, but she's fine now," Hyunjin responded.

"Has she ever mentioned me?" Jinsoul asked.

"No, sorry," Hyunjin said.

"That's a bummer," Jinsoul murmured, deeply sighing right after.

"Uh-huh. Well, I'll see you tonight?" Hyunjin said, getting up for her stop.

"Yeah, of course," Jinsoul said with a smile on her face.

A smile that warmed Hyunjin's heart for the first time in months. She had forgotten what it was like feeling all warm and fuzzy again, it was a breath of fresh air again. Weird how a little smile could brighten her whole day.
