third://person [The Following Week]
The white porcelain plate brightly shined at the slightest contact of light. Every chopstick and every spoon gave off an almost eye blinding beam. All were fashioned onto the rack for drying.
"Huh, you cleaned them well," Heejin's mother praised as she admired the gleaming dinnerware.
"I try my best," Hyunjin said, taking the rubber gloves off.
"Thank you, Hyunjin," She said.
"There's no need, it's really no problem," Hyunjin assured.
Hanging up her apron, Hyunjin made her way to the bathroom where she'd waste over half an hour sinking herself in burning hot water.
In the living room, Heejin sat with her mother joining her once she heard the water turn on.
"I like her," Heejin's mother declared.
"Uh-huh," Heejin said.
"Honestly Heejin, I don't know why you're so opposed to her," Heejin's mother said. "She can cook, clean, she can even do taxes."
"Last time I checked, I wasn't single," Heejin said. "You've met Jiwoo before."
If it weren't for the running television, the room would've been dead silent. Feeling a pair of eyes peering at her, Heejin turned her head to the side. Her mother was giving her the look, the look you gave when you knew something the other person didn't.
"W-What?" Heejin asked, backing up a bit.
"You must be extremely happy with her, aren't you?" Her mother asked, sleeping into her daughters soul.
There was only one correct answer for the question. And Heejin was completely blind to it. But nonetheless, she'd have to .
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Heejin said.
"Just making sure," Her mother responded.
It was as if she could read right through Heejin, and she could in fact do so. She could tell whether or not Heejin was lying just by the slightest of movements or the smallest facial expressions.
"It's late, you should sleep," Heejin's mother said as she stood up. "Poor Hyunjin, I'm sure she'll find someone suited for her one day."

Fresh out of the bathroom, a wet haired Hyunjin came barging into Heejin's room. Seeing that the girl seemed as if she wasn't doing anything of importance, Hyunjin jumped onto the bed, slamming Heejin down in the process.
"What are you doing?" Hyunjin asked, with her arms around Heejin's waist.
"Talking to Jiwoo," Heejin said, trying to reach for her phone. "Get off."
"...No," Hyunjin said. "Goodnight."
"This is important," Heejin said as she broke free.
Not taking the hint, Hyunjin repeated her actions, this time making sure Heejin couldn't escape her embrace.
"Stop, I'm serious," Heejin said, trying to kick Hyunjin off.
"The more you resist, the worse it's gonna be." Hyunjin said.
A ringing noise filled the room. It was coming from Heejin's phone, someone was calling her. Stretching her neck to see the caller, Heejin read the name 'Jiwoo.'
