Chapter 60

They didn't forget to thank the man profusely before rushing out of the place. They speed walked down the streets when a sudden burst of scent came out of no where.
"Like a berry pie."
Jin could smell it as well, and almost as instincts, he pulled out a nose plug for Namjoon.
"We should follow it."
Jin suggested, the last time they did, it didn't end up that well, but Namjoon also did not want to leave any rocks unturned.
"We need a berry pie."
But Jin just stopped and looked him with confusion filling up his eyes, "for the others.. if they smell it, I don't want them to worry... we should go alone this time."
Jin thought about it, he did put protection spells all around the castle and the boys when they were sleeping, they should be safe..in the castle.
"Alright." So coincidentally, a pastry was right beside them. The women inside was taken aback by how quickly they turned to her.

The shop smelled amazing but it wasn't even half as strong as what they smelled earlier.
"A berry pie.. as soon as possible.. please."

The women silently noted. She hasn't baked in a while and she was as excited as she was scared.

It took a while but the pie was nice and steamy. Quickly paying her, the couple ran off towards the castle before any of the wolves started sensing the scent.

Jim wrote a small little note beside the pastry, "please enjoy this for me, Namjoon and I will be back soon! Promise!

That should be a good distraction right?

"Jin hyungg?"
A whine came out from upstairs, it sounded like Jungkook.
"Is he baking?"
Groaned another voice which belonged to Yoongi. More footsteps joined as the two took it as a cue to leave.

"It's really strong."
Namjoon had to push down the nose plug to stop the smell even more than it already did.

"Joon... I don't like this..."
"What is it? Do you wanna turn back—"
"No. Now we really need to know what that is... i just... sense some power near."
"Thats—"
"Look!"
Jin pointed towards a small hut in the distance. Who would stay out here?! The smell so godamn strong that it felt like they could see purple smoke coming out like in the cartoons.

The weirdest thing is that, the whole hut was shut. Completely shut, no windows, no nothing. Just walls and roof.
"This smell.."
Jin recalled it so oddly, "it's a seduction spell!"
Jin went and quickly put another nose plug to close up his. It wasn't safe to be so close to the scent, "the one who possesses it can use it to seduce others to believing whatever they want... i may be wrong in the slightest but, this is definitely not good."
Namjoon just stood in disbelief, things kept getting worse and worse each day.

Then they heard small little mumblings.
Namjoon's ears twitched and they pressed their ears so close into the wall. The walls felt like they were a metre thick, Jin couldn't make out anything from it.
He was just hoping Namjoon's ears were sensitive enough.
Namjoons mouthed out exaclty what he heard, "i brought.. you pie... will you trust me now?....... take a bite... thank you."
"There's two people in there... im afraid I can't seem to recognise who they are—"
"WE HAVE TO GET IN THERE WHO EVER IS UNDER THE SPELL IS NOT SAFE—"
Jin started banging on the walls, they felt like concrete and Jin didn't care how bruised up his hand was gonna get, the spell isn't something to play with.

Then out of a sudden. A loud "SHIT" could be heard from the inside and in a matter or seconds, the hut vanished into thin air.

Jin and Namjoon were left there, baffled. "I've never seen anything like this... a hex would be too dangerous... i dont know what type of protection they have casted on themselves... this isn't good Joon."
"Hyung, what are we supposed to—"
"Get the others."

"Did Jin hyung make this?!"
"I guess so, he left a letter here."
"Where could they have gone?"
"They'll be back, he wants us to enjoy the pie."
"Well the pie sure smells potent."
"Guys—"
"They taste pretty good."
"Guys! We should really worry about Namjoon and Jin hyung right now!"
"Maybe we should trust them with—"
