His eyes slowly open, looking from everywhere and realize he wasn't in his hotel room. He sat up, touching the blanket wrap on his body

Where am I? He examines where he was at. A couch? He took the blanket off him and rise. He looks at the window and told the time

"Maybe it's still dawn," but he remembers something that he totally forgot after waking "where's Sarada?" He rubbed his eyes and stretch

He looks at the bedroom door and decided to inspect if she was inside, and she was. Sleeping soundlessly maybe having a peaceful dream. He steps inside and sat down on the floor to her left.

He looks at the bedside table and notices a book lying beneath the red glasses

Guess she wasn't really fond of wearing lenses... but I admit she looks pretty without her nerdy glasses

Her bangs were messing up all over her face. He reaches for the hair to brush it off, then reveals her gorgeous face. Her long black lashes and her pink lips were really... alluring... He was tempted. His breath suddenly felt heavy, just like he was broken.

What's this heavy feeling? Why do I feel devastated?... is that innocent face of yours makes me blind of my relationship with you?... have I mistaken something?... why are we so far away yet so close?... did everything change that's why you suddenly been indifferent with me?... did I miss something so important?... that you need to stay away from me?... did our lives separated in one sudden decision?

All he could do was to watch her sleep while thinking hardly of what his feelings were, but... what are they? He has many questions yet he couldn't help but left it unanswered

Sarada got up and stare at the little light from the curtains, assuming at it was already morning. She went straight to the living room to find nobody but herself

Did he already leave?

He slowly opens the door, thinking that maybe Mitsuki hasn't gotten up yet because the lights were still off. He tiptoes his way unto his bed, slowly and silently since he couldn't see anything

"Where did you come from?" A voice behind him spoke, making him jump in fright cupping his hands so he couldn't just carelessly scream

"Mitsuki! Don't do that!" His vision was now clear thanks to the bed lamp Mitsuki turned on, the pale boy was sitting on the next bed, looking down upon him

"I didn't appear directly without notice, you knew I was here the whole time yet you still got frightened!"

"You did speak when I thought you were sleeping, it is still the same thing!"

Mitsuki just ignore his raging face "where did you go? You're too late to go to bed now,"

"Why should I tell you?" He crosses his arm leaning against the side of the bed

"Because I assume you would tell me?"

"Well, I ain't telling you!" He looks elsewhere

Mitsuki had the playful look on his eyes "say, did you get laid?" The tone of his started to be mischievous

"What the hell are thinking?!" His voice almost scream

Mitsuki gave him a playful smile "guess not," seeing that blushing teen beneath him wanting to tease him more

"Next month will be the chunin exams and I want you two to give ideas for this event. This is your first-ever event arranging for succession title, this signifies as a formal gathering of the five great nation and Feudal Lords. I entrusted you both to do the job well, the other pages have officially agreed to let you handle the stages before the final face-off!" Naruto said, sitting on the living room along with the two teens facing him

"I assume that you called us here for a direct consult about the stages?" Her eyes look eagerly to the Hokage through her eyeglasses. The blonde slowly nod

"I am right, these have three stages before the final face-off?!... the first stage was to ensure their knowledge and understanding over the shinobi's duty. The second stage is a face-off between groups division, containing a slight battle between two three-man genins each face-off. The third stage is by individual face-offs leaving at least three genins for the final match." shikadai concluded

"As for the arrangments for the genin's test, will be consulted after days... we'll discuss this in a brief time. We'll sort everything before the match," Sarada pleaded some time, concerning that it's a difficult matter to handle (even for the author😝)

"Well... since so, we'll discuss this again a week before the exam starts" the blonde Hokage agreed, typically it's hard to directly plan everything without observation

"Can I ask a favor, Lord seventh?"

"What is it, Sarada?" It was sudden that he took a serious look on the girl before him

"I'm asking for permission to have the security department under our control during the exam, measuring the disadvantage of the lack of security during the exam, it's less to have half of the percentage can we guarantee the safety of the young genins. Does she really mean what she said or just wanting herself to be occupied by work?... what is really going on between you two? I really don't wanna butt-in in this stupid matchmaking drama!
