Chapter 14

"So, kumusta ang klase mo?"

Nandito na kami ngayon sa malapit na restaurant. I'm with Ace right now, eating our lunch together.

"It's okay naman. How about you? Hindi ka naman problemado sa grades mo dahil matalino ka naman."ani ko at nagkibit balikat.

He laughed at my sentence. Pinitik niya din ang noo ko kaya napahiyaw ako sa biglaang sakit.

"Okay din naman. How's your relationship with your father?"biglang tanong niya.

I rolled my eyes when he mentioned my father. We are still not okay, though. I'm not ready to accept another rant from him so I didn't go to our house to avoid my father's presence.

"Don't mention him, please. I'm still not good with him."ani ko at ininom ang tubig na nasa table namin.

He remained quiet and silently staring at me. I raised my brows to question him. He just shook his head and drank his water.

My phone vibrated so I took it out of my pocket. I almost choked when Sheen's message popped up and I realized that we have a lunch date with the girls.

Napasapo ako sa noo habang binabasa ang mensahe ni Sheen sa akin.

Sheen:

wrtf are u?! We r waiting here at the resto near ur skul. Ur such a waste of time.

Natawa ako sa mensahe niya at kinakabahan at the same time. Her message was as jeje as her. Well, her messages were all jejes, actually.

I typed in...

Ako:

I'm sorry. I'm with Ace right now so please don't disturb us. Babay. xoxo <3

Natatawa kong binaba ang aking cellphone at tumingin kay Ace na kasalukuyang nakatingin din sa akin, nagtataka. I laughed again when he eyed my phone, getting mad at it.

"Si Sheen yun. Ano ka ba,"I said and laughed again when some certain reaction registered on his face.

My phone vibrated for a phone call and Sheen's name registered on it. Kinuha ko iyon at sinagot ang tawag.

I put the phone on my ear so that I can hear what she'll say.

"What the fuck, Kaye Maureen!"bungad ni Sheen sa isang napakalakas na boses kaya nilayo ko ang cellphone sa tenga.

I laughed and combed my hair by my fingers when some strands of hair covered my face a little. Ace with his raised brows made me laughed more.

Naisip niya siguro na lalake ang kausap ko kaya ganiyan ang reaksiyon niya. Well, I'm happy that he's jealous because that signifies his love for me. I'm more than satisfied with this.

"No need to mention my full name, Sheen Athena."natatawang ani ko at tumingin kay Ace na kasalukuyang nakatingin sa akin.

Sheen groaned on the other line when she heard her full name. Humagalpak ako sa tawa at natigil lamang nang nilapag ng waiter ang mga inorder namin na pagkain.

"Where are you!? Don't fuck with me, Kaye. We are literally waiting for you to come over!"she shouted that made me winced.

Tinakpan ko muna ang speaker nang matapos nang maglapag ang waiter ng pagkain namin. Ace and I smiled and thanked him.

Pagkatapos noon ay binalik ko na sa tenga ang cellphone. Sheen was ranting over something so I furrowed my brows.

"-kanina pa kami naghihintay sayo ditong, bruha ka! Sabunutan kita diyan, eh!"yan lang ang naabutan ko kaya tumawa ulit.
