Chapter 12

"What?! She did that?!"

Umalingawngaw ang tinig ni Sheen sa buong unit. She was shocked at what Krizel did to me and now she's getting wild like crazy.

I told them what happened earlier morning in the gym that's why Sheen acted like that. Hinilot ko ang sintido at pinahinga ang aking likod sa backrest ng upuan.

"My god! She has gone crazy! Bakit ka naman niya hinalikan?!"singit ni Xy.

I totally have no idea why she did that. Bigla nalang siyang sumugod sa akin at humalik sa aking labi. Well... It's kind of awkward for me because we're both girls and a bit... disgusting.

"Well, siguro may crush siya sayo. I saw her look at you with adoration noong magkasama tayo. Hindi ko nalang din pinansin dahil mukhang friend mo lang naman yun."Jean said as she surveyed her nails by her sight.

Bumuntong hininga ako at tumingin kay Hale. She was looking at me with her gray cat-like eyes. She was like learning my features in every bit because of her stare that made her look creepy. She is creepy, everyday.

"Well, she should stop. Like, ew? It's disgusting kaya!"maarteng sabi ni Sheen na may pairap irap pa.

Natawa ako sa mukha niya at pumunta ng kusina para kumuha ng makakain.

I opened the fridge and immediately grabbed my chocolate ice cream. Malapit kong mabitiwan iyon nang makita si Hale sa harapan ko.

She was staring at me then slowly smiled, creepily. I smiled and went to the countertop to drop my ice cream.

The reason why we think Hale is creepy it's because of her gray cat-like eyes. She is also smarter than us that she'll observe our moves. Gusto kasi niyang hindi kami masaktan kaya panay ang litanya niya sa amin.

"Kaye, sabihin mo sa akin. Bakit ka hinalikan ng kaibigan mo?"Hale asked with a raised brow.

Tumikhim ako at kumuha ng kutsara. I scooped one teaspoonful of my ice cream then ate it.

Umiling ako. "Hindi ko din alam."

Hale sighed and stared at me. That look in her eyes made the creepiness crept in me. I just smiled at her then scooped one teasepoonful of my ice cream again.

"Must be obsessed with you. It's amazing how stupid you can be when you're in love."aniya at umupo sa high chair na nasa harapan ko.

She put her arms on the countertop to support her weight while looking at me. I sighed and gave her an inverted smile.

"Let's change the topic so that it's not awkward for me."ani ko at sumubo ulit.

She chuckled meagrely and put some strands of her on the back of her ear.

Tinitigan ko siya at pinagmasdan ang kaniyang magandang mukha. She has this gray cat-like eyes because our grandma has those eyes, too. Her thick eyebrows and thick eyelashes made her eyes defined. Her narrowed nose and her pinkish cheeks was from her Mom's features and it really suited her. Her perfect lips was pinkish and her perfectly teeth will be prominent everytime she smiles. Her hair was wavy brown and her pale skin was making her look foreign.

Ang ganda niya. Is it because of Tita Helynie's genes? Our genes?

"So, how's your love for Alfred?"she suddenly asked.

Kumain muna ako ng ice cream bago ko pinatong ang braso sa countertop.

"Do you think I'm inlove?"wala sa sariling banggit ko.

She looked at me with creepiness but I didn't let it bother myself. She's my cousin, why would I think of that?

She sighed, "When someone's happiness is your happiness... then that is love."
