Chapter 20

In-on ko agad ang cellphone at saka tinawagan ulit si Ace.

I won't let him meet my parents! Mapapatay siya ni Daddy!

Daddy is an overprotective father for us and I understand that. He wouldn't let us get a boyfriend or girlfriend while we're still studying.

Tama din naman, pero sobra naman ata iyon? I want to also experience the things that I never done before.

Nag-ring pa ang cellphone pero hindi na ako mapakali. Napasabunot ako sa buhok ko dahil sa frustration.

I'm sure that if Dad sees Ace with me, he'll probably beat him up!

When Ace finally answered the phone call, I immediately stood up.

"Kaye. Yes?"he said on the other line.

Napabuntong hininga ako para mapahinahon ang sarili.

"Don't! Don't go here, Ace! If Dad will see you with me, I'm sure he'll cut the precious life of yours!"ani ko ng madiin.

"What?"he asked, confused.

"I said, don't go here! Or even near the casa! My Dad will be mad at me and because of too much feeling he felt inside him, he'll definitely cut your esophagus out and let it blood until nothing left."I said.

He sighed, problematic. Umirap ako.

Naman eh!

"Why not? I want to meet your parents."aniya kaya napairap ulit ako.

Ang kulit, bwisit!

"Hindi nga pwede, eh! Sa malapit nalang tayo magkita. I-me-message ko ang address, okay? I love you, goodbye."ani ko at pinatay ang tawag para hindi na siya magreklamo.

I sent the address to him near our house. I went inside the house to get my purse and my cap before I walked to the address where I sent to Ace.

My skin feels so irritated because of the powerful rays of the sun. Nagbaba ako ng tingin sa sarili.

I wore my peach backless spaghetti strap jumpsuit which lighten my pale skin. I also wore my black ankle boots that fits perfectly to my outfit.

I let my long black hair down and sway with the wind. Hinawakan ko ang cap para hindi lumipad kasabay ng hangin.

Sumandal ako sa may pader at ibinulsa ang kamay. Kinuha ko ang cellphone sa bulsa para tignan ang oras at kung may dumating man na message galing sa kaniya.

Ibinulsa ko ulit iyon nang makitang walang  message galing kay Ace at napabuga ng hangin dahil sa init na dumadapo sa aking balat.

After ten minutes of waiting, a car suddenly parked in front of me. I smiled thinking that it's Ace but when the windshield slid down, my smile immediately faded and got shocked.

"Kaye!"he smiled and waived his hand.

I rolled my eyes and scoffed. Gago.

"Mikael Villanueva, what brings you here?"I said and raised a brow at him.

Si gagong Kael, nandito! Bwisit na bata!

"Vacation."he answered and smiled. "Ano? May sasakyan ka ba? Hatid na kita! Saan ba bahay niyo?"

Tinaasan ko siya ng gitnang daliri.

"Ulol."ani ko at ngumisi.

"Halika na, babe! Mahal pa naman 'tong sasakyan ko. At saka, ayaw kong pag-aksayahin ang oras ko, kaya... arat!"he said and smiled wickedly.

Umirap ako. Gagong 'to! Gulpihin ko siya diyan, eh!

Tinaas ko ulit ang gitnang daliri sa kaniya pero tumawa lang siya.
