Region sighed as he sat down. He could feel sweat stream down the back of his neck, as if it was a mountain with rivers flowing off it. He looked at Firesky and the violet SilkWing, both of them standing like statues. "What's the deal?" He muttered, stretching, "The HiveWings got it all under control in Jewel Hive. I don't see why-"

"Silence!" Firesky snapped in a loud whisper, unmoving, "Are you trying to get yourself killed? Region glared at the orange SilkWing, before the violet and gold SilkWing slashed it's tail towards the sky. Region turned up to see HiveWing soldiers, hovering around the Hive like vultures, looking for any potential victims. Region gulped and straighten up almost instantly. He wanted to glare, he wanted to rebel.

I won't stain the reputation of the SilkWings, Region thought, trying to convince himself to stay still. The spikes on his back began to get sore. Queen Monarch would have given me a break...

Suddenly the Hive began shaking. The three SilkWing soldiers yelped in fright, immediately taking flight. "What's happening?" The violet SilkWing yelled. "Earthquake?" Firesky echoed at the same time. Region looked out beyond the Hive. He could see a mass wave of flying and running objects, too many to count.

"LeafWings!" Region shrieked, alerting the HiveWing soldiers. Their heads all twisted immediately, before a cry was released. Region watched as dozens of HiveWing soldiers rumbled towards the LeafWings. Head high, stingers out, spears ready. Region lowered his head. I just killed many innocent lives...

Ashmeadiella looked towards the three soldiers, followed by a new army of SilkWings. "Guard the Hive!" He roared before leading the SilkWings into battle. Region followed Ashmeadiella with his eyes, before noticing the huge shape of Queen Wasp, her unusual yellow and black stripes made her stand out against the opaque swarm of the HiveWing army. He shivered, remembering how he had seen Wasp up close, all smudged. And then...

I'm gonna hurl, Region thought before his wings stopped working on him. He didn't realize he was falling until silk strands wrapped around his limbs. Region blinked in confusion, before realizing Firesky and the other SilkWing were struggling to keep him up. Region slowly spread out his wings, it was a slow proceed indeed. He got himself up, before falling on the balcony where the webs connected to the Hive. He laid flat on the surface, letting the sun blaze off him completely.

"Are you okay? What was that?" The violet SilkWing asked, while Firesky waved his talons in Region's sight.

Region shook his head, snapping out of his dizzy state of mind. "I... I saw Queen Wasp..." He whispered, feeling sick as he said her name. The SilkWing frowned.

Firesky looked at violet. "Wasp did something to him and that traumatized this fool," he explained, nudging Region up with the flat end of his spear, a mischievous smudge covered his face. Region groaned, before pushing Firesky's spear away.

"Well I wouldn't say traumatizing," Region argued, looking down at the scar on his back, "But what she did was REALLY freaky. Something not dragon." Firesky rolled his eyes, before scratching his arm uncomfortably.

"Well what she do?" The violet SilkWing asked before clearing his throat into a smile, "I'm Lavender, by the way." Region nodded.

"Well she-"

Firesky spread his wings, his teeth were clenched and Region could see that one of his eyes were twitching. "Save the chit-chat for later. We would all get along well if we just accept each other, scary or not. Anyway, let's go check on the cocoon. Bet you there's a SilkWing or two panicking over the shaking the LeafWings are causing," the orange SilkWing shifted around, the only thing Region could see were the white speckles that ran down Firesky's spine. Lavender sighed before following after Firesky, heading to the passage that lead them to the lower levels.

Region frowned. That grump! HE wasn't there in the beginning of war! The red SilkWing fluttered after, feeling kinda loopy. Perhaps he was throwing a fit, who knows. Watching the protestors again, he could see how there were less SilkWings this time. Probably punished and taken down easily, Region thought taking off his helmet, shaking the sweat of his face. Dragons were definitely scared. He could see a HiveWing dragonet clutching a dragon-shaped weaving, pressing it close to his chest, calling out. Region would have gone to help the dragonet; however, he had duties to work on.

"The war is bout to get worst, I know it!" Lavender declared, Region just listened, being grateful he wasn't to kill any LeafWings any time soon. He would rather be patrolling the huge Hive city, helping those in need.

Firesky landed. "We're here," he announced, looking around at the crowded place.

"Why is everyone here?" Region asked out loud.

A HiveWing walked to them. "Everyone has been evacuated to the three lower levels," they explained, "Soldiers must be in the upper levels."

Region opened his mouth to answer but Firesky beat him to it. "General Ashmeadiella has sent us to guard the citizens as the HiveWing army goes to take care of the LeafWings," he replied, his eyes scanning around the place. Region followed his eyes, noticing this place wasn't the greatest place to evacuate in. There weren't many exits, if this place ever ful down. He gulped, they were inside a deathtrap.

"We'll still go to the upper levels thought," Region blurted, noticing the HiveWing's glare, in which Firesky didn't notice, "Let's go Sky. You too Lavender." He grabbed the orange SilkWing's arm and pulled him away. Lavender walked behind them, looking back at the HiveWing with wary eyes.
