3rd persons POV

She soon then got a text from the athlete, it was about the the dance so she clicked on Rainbows contact and replied.

Rd: Hey apples, sup?

Aj: oh, heya Dash. Nothing really, you?

Rd: Nun.

Aj: sooo...

Rd: So?

Aj: Oml Rainbow! You're so dumb. What about the dance? Are ya able to go or not?

Rd: ohhhhhhh... yeah. I'm able to go! My parents yelled at me for like- 10 minuets? Hahah.

Aj: poor you.

Rd: mhm.. anyways I better go.

Aj: Wait.. Rainbow-

Rd: Hm?

Aj: Wanna hang out today? At 5:30?

Rd: Eh... sure, why not?

Aj: okay! Byeee..

Rd: Cya.

Applejack sighed of relief and put her phone down beside her. She wanted to go back on Instagram but didn't want to run into the same picture of her friend, so she just went downstairs to her family.

Aj: " Heya Guys. What are ya cookin? " she sniffed the air to smell the sent of Granny's soup.

G: " Ah'm making mah famous chicken noodle soup! " she proudly announced, sipping the soup out of the wooden spoon. Applejack nodded and ran to the living room to see her little sister gaming away, she walked over to see why her little sister was amazed by the game.

Aj: " Fortnite? Ya got to be kiddin' me AppleBloom. "

Ab: " whaaat! It's a good game! Scootaloo got me attachedddd!!! "

Aj: " of course she did. "

Scootaloo was Rainbows sister, they were both gamers extreme gamers. Soon after Applejack got bored of watching her little sister game and decided to go for a horse ride. She walked out of the house and towards the barn, she took out her horse and started brushing the horse down.

Aj: " Why did ah feel so nervous when ah seen that picture.. ah need answers, and ah need em now. " Applejack began talking to the mammal, as she was tacking the horse up. She tightened its girth and put on its bridle then she finally hopped on.

Applejack wasn't going far, she was just going for a little trail ride around the marsh and then would be back home by the time her and Rainbow are supposed to hang out.

She nudged her horse into a trot while clucking making a little clicking sound come from her mouth, the horses ears pricked and began to pick its feet up to a trot. Applejack loved the wind blowing in her face, every time she was on the back of a horse, especially her horse Lily.

Lily was a dark bay thoroughbred, she had a little white diamond on her forehead, and her mane was long and thin, easy to braid. Lily is like a best friend to Applejack, she helped her through a lot. She helped her when her parents died, when Rara left, and when she didn't want to live anymore.

Applejack clucked again, sitting deep she used her strong legs to push Lily into a canter, her canter was smooth. She strides were short so she was a bit fast, but smooth. Applejack loved cantering Lily on the trails, she took Lily out on the trails quite often sometimes on foot. Her and Lily even have a spot, it was beautiful field, with bright green grass they normally come here when Applejack couldn't take life at home, it was her happy place. There's a tree she likes to sit at, she lets Lily graze while she sits against the trees trunk and just watches her.

After a bit of cantering Applejack pulled back on Lily's reins to bring her back to a trot, and she responded good. Suddenly her phone rang, Lily's head shot up in fear, Applejack tried collecting the thoroughbred but she wouldn't respond, then it happened.

Lily took off full speed, causing Applejack to fall from the behind and hitting her back on the dirt trail. Lily galloped away because of the ringtone that spooked her. Applejack groaned as she got up off the dirt road rubbing her back, she looked up to see that her mare was nowhere to be found.

Aj: " Lily!! " she hollered out to her thoroughbred mare.

Applejack decided that she'd go looking for Lily. So she began to walk forward on the dirt road, on foot. Then she remembered what spooked Lily, her ringtone so she pulled out her phone to see what it was and it was a message from Granny Smith asking where she was, she typed back " Sorry Granny Smith, Ah went on a trail ride with Lily, that's all. But she spooked now ah'm tryna find her right now. " she sent the messaged and turned her ringer off, then put the phone back in her pocket.

After a few minutes of walking and hollering out for Lily, she walked back to the farm. Once she got there she took out another horse and started tacking it, she put on the western saddle pad and western saddle, tightened up the cinch. As she was about to put the bridle on the horse a familiar voice was heard.

" Aj. Where are you going? " the familiar raspy voice shot out.

Applejack turned around and saw her rainbow-haired friend walking towards her with a fairly confused face.

Aj: " Rainbow? Why are ya here. "

Rd: " We were planning to hang out at 5:30, it's 5:35 right now. "

Aj: " Oh yea! But right now ah gotta find Lily. She ran off while Ah was trail ridin' "

Rd: " oh, I'll help! "

Rainbow then walked in the barn and took out the horse she usually rides when her and Applejack go on rides together, his name was Thunder, he was a dapple grey Irish Sport Horse he was an ex jumper. Rainbow started tacking him, she popped an English saddle pad on him, and an English saddle. She tightened the girth, and fixed the length of the stirrups so she can actually ride. Applejack then bridled the horse she's using named Lisa she was a chestnut quarter horse. Both horses and riders were ready to go looking for Applejacks dark bay thoroughbred. So they went off to go look for the mare, Applejack and Rainbows horse were side by side talking and laughing.

Aj: " Again, Ah'm sorry for our plans havin' to be cancelled. "

Rd: " stop with sorry. " she commanded still controlling the Irish Sport Horse " It's really okay. We're hanging out right Now. Are we not? "

Aj " well yeah but- " before Applejack could even finish her sentence the athlete interrupted.

Rd: " No buts, it's really okay. I know what Lily means to you and I'll work my ass off to find her for you Applejack. "

Aj: " thanks.. "

The two girls continued to look for the horse that had recently just bolted off. THE FEILD Applejack thought to herself, she let out a big gasp. Rainbow looked over at her confused in why she gasped, before she couldn't even ask any questions Aj pushed Lisa into a gallop and Rainbow had no choice but to follow behind her, she pushed Thunder into a gallop and stayed behind Aj and Lisa.

When they got to the field, Applejack stopped her horse and looked in the field Rainbow following behind her. Suddenly Applejack gasped when she saw Lily.

Laying down...
