Chapter. 8

3rd persons POV

" hello Dashie.. "

Rainbow immediately got up and started squealing uncontrollably, the rest of the group was just plain out confused.

Rd: " Soarin!! " The rainbow haired teenager squealed once again while jumping up and down.

S: " How have you been, I haven't seen you in forever. " He asked while scratching the back of his neck.

Rd: " I've actually been great not gonna lie, and yeah I know I've missed you, come sit. " She insisted before patting the bench beside her, Soarin sat down beside Rainbow.

After a few minutes of awkward silence, applejack decides to break the silence by asking a simple question.

Aj: " So.. Soarin is it? Sorry if this comes off as rude but Ah have never seen you before, and ya new or somethin'? " The cowgirl asked after she swallowed her food.

S: " Uh, Yeah actually. I'm new around these parts.. " He answered while looking around the big cafeteria scratching his chin.

T: " Oh then, how do you know Rainbow Dash? "

S: " We used to play Soccer together until she had to move away, and leave the soccer team. " He answered after wrapping his arm around Rainbow,
causing a little blush to grow onto Rainbows face.

The six girls all noticed Rainbow blushing and they all gave her "the look" well everyone but Applejack, Aj on the other hand looked to be affected by the blushing Rainbow Dash.

After another few minutes go by everyone was chatting, everyone but Applejack of course who still seemed to be upset, Rainbow noticed Applejacks down behaviour.

Rd: " Hey Aj.. you alright? You seem kinda.. down? " Rainbow asked her farmer friend as she placed her hand down on Applejacks cold hand.

Rainbows touch shot fireworks in Aj's stomachs, she didn't know why and she also started feeling incredibly nervous, she pulled her hand away from Rainbow and held it in her other making Rainbow look at her with pure confusion and shock.

Aj: " Sorry Rainbow, you caught me by surprise. " She obviously lied to her athletic friend, but since Aj never lies all the girls including Soarin believed her and let it slide.

Rainbow just smiled and then began chatting with the group once again, Applejack on the other hand just sat quiet once again cursing at herself in her head. Once the bell rang all the students in the cafeteria went down to their next class, Rainbow walked over to the flustered farmer.

Rd: " We walking together? " Rainbow looked down at the cowgirl that was still sitting at the table covering her red face.

Aj: " Oh uh, ya one minute. " Applejack panicked a bit before gathering all her food and lunch bag, she threw her leftovers in the trash and packed the rest into her lunch bag.

Rd: " You ready now? " The athlete chuckled at the panicking farmer.

Aj: " Yah, sorry bout' that Ah was in um. " She stopped, thinking about what to say because she can't just say oh well Ah was just cursing at myself because I pulled away from yah and made it awkward for mah self " A moment.. " She finished.

Rd: " It's all good, no need to be sorry. " Rainbow brushed it off before walking off to class, Applejack following after her.
