Chapter 22: Final Battle

Okay, I know this chapter is like 3 days late, but I wanted to increase the intensity of this story somehow (I was lazy) so I posted this later (kinda forgot about it :P sorryyyyy)

~No one's POV~

"Hand me the Miraculous. There is no need to fight," Hawk Moth says coldly. "Even when we're in an alternate dimension, you can still say the same?" Nightlynx says, sarcasm and anger raging in her voice. Mayura snickers, launching into an attack. Ladybug and Cat Noir dodged her fan, grabbing her arms and pinning her down. Mayura swiftly manages to unpin herself and spun around, continuously attacking.

Hawk Moth launches himself at Nightlynx and Rue, his akumas surrounding him. Using her whip to block his attacks, Nightlynx pulled some space between them and shouted, "Wolf Kingdom!" The wolf appeared by her side, which she quickly split it to all 30 wolves. Attacking all at once, the akumas were soon down and Hawk Moth stood, clutching his arm. A wolf had charged at him in an attempt to grab his Miraculous, but Hawk Moth had swung his arm out, causing the wolf's sharp teeth to sink into his arm, leaving blood trickling. Rue had also thrown her blades out, a few causing cuts. All of a sudden, Hawk Moth and Mayura back away, laughing maniacally.

"You think we didn't come prepared?" Mayura says in a cold tone. Hawk Moth's signature akuma sign appears on his face as he says, "Defeat this band of heroes, and you can keep your powers! You'll be loved, hated, acknowledged, powered, righteous, anything you deserve! These 'heroes' are what will make you lose your powers!" At that moment, Mayura throws an Amok on the ground, which causes it to split, revealing all the akumatized people the heroes have fought before. "Oh no..." Ladybug mumbles to herself.

Immediately, the villains came up, attacking the heroes. Mayura and Hawk Moth stood at the side watching, snickering evilly. "Let's see how you can defeat everyone..." Mayura whispers to herself, smiling. The heroes were surrounded in a tight circle, the villains pushing in. "Chat, Nightlynx, round the villains up. Rue, pocket dimension. Healine, keep us alive. Ready?" Ladybug says confidently. The other 4 nodded, prepared. "Then, let's go!!" She shouts, dashing out and attacking the villains. Chat uses his baton to pin down several villains while Night wrapped villains together, Rue would then touch them to send them into a pocket dimension, forcing the akuma out of the villains, which Ladybug swiftly caught. Nathaniel fended off a couple villains, Night occasionally coming to his rescue, and he mainly focused on healing the heroes.

Soon enough, the villains were all gone, leaving Mayura, Hawk Moth, Ladybug, Cat Noir, Nightlynx, Healine and Rue. The two villains stood confidently, a wide grin on their face. At that moment, the heroes' Miraculous all started beeping. "Looks like you're almost out of time," Hawk Moth said. Nightlynx smirks, turning to Rue. "A little help?" Nodding, Rue channelled her magic through the heroes, enhancing their Miraculous. "W-what..." Mayura stutters, stepping back. "I'm so done with this," Rue says coldly, lashing out at Hawk Moth and Mayura, tying them with vines and holding them in the air. 

"Give up your Miraculous, dad, Natalie," Chat says, walking closer to them. Suddenly, the two started laughing maniacally. Confused, the heroes glance around them, spinning around to see... A feathery akuma landing on Night's whip. Gasping, she fell to her knees, staring at the ground. "Oh, the pain, loneliness, hate, fear, loss..." Hawk Moth said slowly. This causes Nightlynx to clutch her head, screaming, "Make it stop! Stop!" Rue immediately lets go of the two villains, running over to Nightlynx, who dropped her transformation instantly, revealing a terribly weak Snowlyx, who Healine caught. Rue immediately transmitted her magic to the poor suffocating girl, but in the next moment, she got a hit on her back by Hawk Moth, causing her to faint. Swiftly, Deris had taken control, anger raging through her. This made it a perfect opportunity to akumatize the girl again, which Hawk Moth did gladly.

Valister got up slowly, using her magic to further enhance all the negativity (y/n) was feeling. "No!" Ladybug and Cat Noir hollered, rushing over to knock Valister out. Before they could get to her, a circle of darkness blasted from (y/n), throwing everyone back. As they slowly opened their eyes, they saw... (y/n) floating in the air, her h/c hair and e/c eyes shining bright white, hair flowing behind her, she wore a simple white dress. "You've disrupted the peace of this world for too long, Hawk Moth," her voice boomed. "Does it really matter? I want what I want. A family," Hawk Moth retorted. He was floating as well, dark mist surrounding him, his eyes dark. Mayura had detransformed, dropping her Miraculous as she fainted. The broken Peacock Miraculous had already stressed and impacted her body too much that such a blast ended harming her, instead of strengthening. "Ladybug, Cat Noir. The Peacock Miraculous," (y/n) said. Nodding her head, Ladybug grabbed the fallen Miraculous, holding it out on her hand. Chat then carefully laid Natalie away from the fight, allowing her to rest.

At that moment, Lady, Chat and Heal's transformation fell, their powers going to (y/n), who held it in her hand like an orb. "All Miraculous kwami, come to me. It's time to fix everything back to the way they were supposed to be," she voiced, as more wisps came flying through the air, towards the powered girl, including the Peacock Miraculous' powers. "Miraculous power!" (y/n) shouts, shooting it at Hawk Moth. He successfully blocked it for awhile, but it soon overpowered him, causing him to be enveloped by the magic. "No!" He shouted, as bright light engulfed everything.

"See you back home, everyone."
