-Liena's POV-

"I'm really gonna miss you. How long are you gonna be gone?" Nakia folds her arms and looks over at her little siblings struggling to haul her bag out the door (they insisted they take it to the cart)

"As long as it takes. If you need anything, like you need me to come back since you blew something else up, just send a letter." I frown at her banter.

"I'm not going to blow anything else up! Have a little faith," I say. She just chuckles and takes the bag from the twins, throwing it over her shoulder.

"Stick to the schedule we discussed. If anyone else joins, I added another set of schedules in the Office. If you have any questions, write to me before making any rash decisions," she pauses to hug me, "But most importantly, stay safe. Take care of them," Nakia nods towards the twins.

The kids shout after her until she's out of sight.

I mutter under my breath, "I will."

---------------------------------------

Gui and I are sitting in the Office, a small room we carved in the tunnel with all our layout prints and student lists stacked in boxes made of rock and on top of the stone table. Every piece of furniture is one that Gui or I made, so we didn't have to worry about bringing stuff down here. That would have been a fun process!

Not really. That was a joke.

Gui is laughing his face off at a story I'm telling.

"Yeah, I was grounded a whole month for that one." He shakes his head, smiling.

"You got another story like that? These are cracking me up."

"Yeah, but we're on a schedule, remember? And we can't miss another day of training just talking, you know." He chuckles, his cheeks a light shade of pink. It's quite adorable.

"Alright, who's next on the list?" I switch the topic. If we don't want Nakia on our necks for not following her schedule, we really need to get going.

"Liena, did you read the schedule?" I feel the heat in my face.

"Maaayyybbeeeee..."

"I know you didn't because the next thing after our session is the session with Yohan."

"Riiight, okay." I stand up, and we head to the Meeting Place, a small section of the tunnels where we meet up with students coming in for their sessions.

"Hello, little Liena," Yohan greets. I'm not sure quite how old he is, but he's definitely an adult. The first time I met up with him for training, he told me, "I feel conflicted about being trained by a little girl." It wasn't until after I destroyed him in a match that he allowed me to teach him.

"Hi, Yohan! How's it going?" We walk to our biggest training room. He's improved a lot since he started, and now we're on the same skill tier. I mean, this man hasn't used bending for, I don't know, since the invasion, so ten years? You lose a skill if you don't practice it for so long. It came back to him quickly, though. He's advanced faster than our other students.

"Are you ready to lose, little girl?" We're in the ring now, preparing to test our skills against each other.

"After you!" I say, mockingly bowing a little.

Gui takes note of everything the two of us do for evaluation later. We spar it out, although Yohan eventually beats me by wearing me out for so long that I can't fight back anymore, leaving me calling for surrender.

"Good job, guys, nice fight!" Yohan helps me up.

"Wow, Yohan! You could enter tournaments if you wanted!" He looked at me, thinking.

"Maybe I will. I heard about some in Gaoling. Perhaps once we liberate Shoa, I'll move there. Of course, I'll miss you, little warrior."

"Dude, you'd be awesome! One problem, though. Yohan isn't that threatening of a name. If you're going to enter Bending matches, you'll need a stage name. Any ideas, Gui?" I pitch the question to the boy listening from across the room.

"Hmm. He's good at standing his ground, and he's an Earthbender, so what if he goes by the Rock??" I squint at Yohan, testing the name with his appearance. His eyes are narrowed, considering the name.

"I like the concept, but not the Rock. Doesn't quite fit him. Oh, I know! The Boulder!" The Boulder's face lights up, the name feeling perfect.

"You better watch out, because the Boulder will crush anyone in his way!" He says, smiling broadly.
