Talking it out

Selena's POV

I wake up the next morning still thinking about the events that took place yesterday. I still can't believe chase had the balls to ask if the baby was his, his dumb ass knows that I'm not like him, I do not sleep around and never will. Taking me out of my thoughts I hear the doorbell, Norman jumps off the bed running down the stairs while I drag myself out of bed going to see who it is. I answer the door and see a huge Bouquet of flowers sitting there with a card. I take the flowers inside and set them on the counter then open the card and read it.

Dear Selena

I'm so sorry that I asked if the baby was mine, I know better then to ask that, I know it takes you a long time to move on. I hope you know I am always here for you if you need support or help

After I read the card I sit there thinking. *i need to talk to him* I think to myself. I put Norman's harness on and take him out to my truck and we begin our journey to chases house. The car ride felt like forever before I was in front of the all to familiar house. I get out of the drivers seat and open the door to the back seat grabbing Norman we both walk to the front door my feet feeling heavy, then I knock I hear fletch bark and it takes a few seconds before I hear footsteps approaching the door. The door unlocks and opens revealing chase, he stands there surprised seeing its me, so I finally say something.

"Can we talk?"

"Absolutely come on in"

He moves aside letting me in, fletch runs up to me but doesn't attempt to jump on me like he normally does, instead he smells my belly making me smile knowing that he knows there's a baby in there. I turn around to take Norman off his leash but chase has already done it and is getting puppy kisses from him. That sight makes my heart melt and puts a smile on my face.

"Make yourself at home and I'll grab something to keep these boys occupied"

I sit on the couch and a minute later chase comes in sitting next to me.

"How have you been?"

"Besides the morning sickness I've been good, how have you been?"

"I've been alright I've had better days"

"Chase I want to talk about the baby, and about us"

He looks at me in the eyes giving me his full attention.

"I'm going to be keeping this baby, if you don't want to be in the babies life I completely understand"

"Selena I want to be in the babies life when you told me you were pregnant I was happy because we created something together and even if I can't have you I'll always have a part of you with this baby"

"Chase I still love you and I always will, but I can't totally forgive you, you know how I feel about cheating, and you know what I've gone through but you still did it"

"I understand" he says dropping his head.

I can tell he has gone through a lot with this breakup, I know it's taking a toll on him with how bad he fucked up, I know he's a great guy, and on top of that I had to drop a bomb on him that I was pregnant, I can see that he is hurting. Pregnancy's are supposed to make people happy but it's just breaking my heart that we can't enjoy these times together like how we should.

"Chase I'm here for you, I always will be" I say picking his head up seeing tears in his eyes he blinks one time and the tears come pouring like a waterfall.

"I'm so fucking sorry Selena I just want to make things right between us so things can go back to the way they used to be, where we were happy and in love. I want to be with you every step of the way with you through this pregnancy, please Selena I need you I'm working on myself I will never do it again"

After him saying this there are tears in my eyes seeing how broken he is, I grab him wrapping him in a hug letting the tears fall from my eyes while he sobs into my chest. I felt his palm go to my belly and feel it.

"Chase look at me"

He looks up at me his eyes glossy from the crying.

"I'm willing to work this out between us but it will be a while before you fully regain my trust"

"What are you saying?"

"I'm saying that I want to get back together I can't do this anymore, being apart from you, I love you chase"

"Are you sure?"

"Does this answer your question?" I grab his face pulling him into a kiss full of need and want.

"I missed your kisses"

"Oh you have no idea"

A/N yay another chapter done thank you guys so much for 500 reads and 62 votes y'all are killing it 😁😁

Chase and Ryan have been making me proud with how well they have been doing on the track hopefully Ryan can get that first win of the season soon.
