It's been a week since I've seen or talked to chase this past week I've just sat in my room watching tv, then I realized I'll continue to feel like shit if I continue to be alone. Me and Hailie have been hanging out and it feels just like old times where I didn't have a boyfriend to worry about. I get out of bed it's currently 8:30 and I walk downstairs seeing a bunch of flowers and balloons I get all the way downstairs and see Hailie, Amanda, Ryan, bubba, my parents, Joey, Brittany, and Hudson.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" everyone says in unison
*oh shit I totally forgot it was my birthday* I look at the calendar on the wall to make sure, and it is indeed March 27th
"Did you forget about your birthday" my mom asks.
"Yeah kinda" I say smiling.
"Well since we can't do anything today or go anywhere we are all gonna sit here and have a party, Hailie organized it" my mom said smiling.
"What do you mean a party?" I asked completely unprepared.
"Last month I started planing a birthday party for you, I bought decorations, sent out invitations, bought alcohol, bought food that I hid at Ryan's house that I hope is still there?" She says looking at Ryan
"Don't worry I didn't touch anything" Ryan says throwing his hands up.
"So me, Hailie, and Brittany are gonna go get the food from Ryan's house and start preparing it along with the boys help, you can sit, relax, do whatever it's your day, I made you waffles with strawberries" my mom says handing me my plate.
"I can help" I say wanting to help.
"Nope we got this, you go chill"
"But first there's a birthday present here for you if you would follow me" Ryan says
We all walk out in the backyard, before I walk out the door bubba puts a blindfold on me, making me nervous. He guides me to where I need to be.
"Okay on the count of 3. 1, 2, 3"
Ryan finishes counting and I take the blindfold off and see him holding an English bulldog, I start crying because I've always wanted an English bulldog, as I'm holding him Ryan has a card to give me. I set my new little baby down and take the card, I open it and it reads.
Happy birthday beautiful, I know you do not want to hear from me but I wanted to get you this gift, it didn't take that much thinking to know what to get you. I know you have always wanted a white English bulldog with brown spots. He is only 12 weeks old, and needs a loving mama, I spent three days with him and knew you would love him. I'm really sorry about what I did, I know there is no excuse for it, and nothing can ever make up for it, just please know that I love you and will always be here if you need me.

After I got done reading the card I was crying. I can't go back to him, he knows what happened to me in my first relationship and he cheated on me anyway, I'm not ready just to drop it and go back to him, I don't think I ever will be ready. Ryan wraps me in a hug and everyone joins him, I told everyone that is closest to me what happened.
"I'm not ready to go back to him, I don't think I ever will be"
"That's okay sweetheart, that's totally understandable, there's no need to rush anything"
"Okay let's get going there is lots to do before 5:00" Hailie says.
The day passes by I decided I was gonna name my new baby Norman, the name just fits him. It is now 3:30 I go upstairs and begin to get ready, I hop in the shower, wash my hair, shave, wash my body and get out, I moisturizer my skin and start on my makeup. Then I do my hair just simply straighten it, then it's time to pick out my outfit.

This is the outfit I decide on, it's simple but pretty. When I finish getting ready I can already hear people arriving, so I go downstairs. When I get down there there are already a few people here like Ryan's sisters, who are my good friends, Dale and Amy, and a lot of others. After a few more people begin to arrive, I am currently talking to Amanda, Erin, Emma, and Hailie, I excuse myself to go inside to get a drink, when I walk in I see Ryan, bubba, William Byron, Daniel Suarez, and one person I wasn't ready to see yet, I try to be quiet when I walk inside, but failed when I shut the door and it made a click sound making all of their heads snap I'm my direction, I give a light smile, all of them walk over to me giving me hugs and wishing me a happy birthday, then I get to chase, he goes to give me a hug but I back away.
"Happy birthday Selena"
"Thanks"
I walk over to get a water then I go and let Norman out of his kennel, he walks beside me the whole way until we get to the living room area and he sees chase and runs to him.
"Hey buddy, I see you're liking your new home"
seeing him with a puppy makes my heart melt. I put food in Norman's bowl and set it down for him, I feel myself getting nauseous, so I ask Ryan and bubba to watch Norman while I go upstairs. I go in my room run to my bathroom, kneeling down in front of the toilet, throwing up whatever was in my stomach.
After I'm done I brush my teeth and sit on my bed, staring at the wall. After a couple minutes I hear a knock on the door then the door opens and Ryan and Norman walks in.
"Hey are you okay?"
"Yeah it's just so soon seeing him right now"
"I'm sorry the invitations were sent out weeks before y'all broke up"
"It's fine I'm just gonna go and enjoy the rest of the night and my birthday"
"Shall we" he says holding his hand out for me to take.
I grab his hand laughing, we walk out of the room with Norman following close behind. I get outside and the girls all want to sit around the fire pit and all have a glass of wine I gladly except because I need some alcohol after what I've been through this passed week.

A/N yay another chapter done. I've been in my feelings these passed couple of days and writing has really helped me from crying my eyes out. I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter.
