Selena's POV

Chase got home last night while I was sleeping, I texted him after the race was over but that was it. I knew he needed his space so that's what I gave him. When he got home he came upstairs went into the bathroom, showered, and I felt him kiss my four head and leave the room.

I just woke up, I look to my right and see chase isn't there, then I look to my left and see it's 6:00 in the morning.

*what the fuck is he doing awake at this time? What the fuck am I doing awake?*

I get out of bed and begin to walk downstairs, when I get down there I see chase laying next to the couch sleeping and 4 beer bottles in front of him on the coffee table. I walk over to him and begin to wake him up.

"Babe are you okay?"

He didn't answer.

"Babe wake up"

He groans but ignores me.

"Chase wake up" I say in a more serious tone.

He wakes up and gets up on the couch without a word. I grab the empty beer bottles and the bottle of whiskey that's in front of him and throw the bottles away.

"You shouldn't be drinking this much babe"

"Will you just shut the fuck up? My head is pounding and you keep talking and lecturing me after the shitty night I had, just do me a favor and leave me alone"

I was very taken back by that he has never yelled at me before nor talked to me like that, I could feel the tears burning in my eyes. I turn around walking towards the stairs going back up to my room crying, I lay down and cry myself back to sleep.

I wake up and look at the clock and see it's 10:30 thank god I closed my curtains because the room would be so bright. My mind drifts back to what happened this morning, I can't believe he actually talked to me like that, I can't help but feel hurt by it. I don't even feel like getting out of bed at this point I reach over on my nightstand and grab the tv remote and turn on the tv, as I do that Norman walks in and jumps on the bed laying next to me putting his head on my belly. It makes me smile knowing he knows that there's a baby in my belly. My stomach then rumbles and normally I would ignore it because I'm upset but I can't do that because I'm now eating for two people so I get out of bed and walk downstairs, chase was sitting on the couch watching something on tv I walk right passed him not looking at him, I get to the kitchen to get something to eat. I grab raspberries out of the fridge and wash them, then make a bagel with cream cheese. After I'm done making my food I take my food up stairs to my room not even acknowledging chase.

Chases POV

It's around 10:30 and I see Selena walking downstairs, she doesn't even look at me as she walks into the kitchen she makes some food then goes back upstairs. I begin to feel like shit because of what I said to her, I was drunk and having my own pity party because of a bad race and took it out on the women I love. I then get up my courage and walk upstairs, I go into our room and see her laying there on her back watching tv, I stand there for a minute staring at her I look at her belly and it's starting to become very noticeable that she's pregnant when she's wearing tight fitting clothes. I walk over to her and lean down grabbing her and giving her a hug.

"I'm sorry for snapping at you, there's no excuse for doing that"

"You really hurt my feelings"

"I know I'm really sorry I won't do it again"

"Okay"

I stare into her eyes and lean down to kiss her, the kiss starts to get heated then she pulls away and stops me.

"Sorry babe I don't feel good right now the baby is making me nauseous"

"I understand, is there anything you need?"

"Can you get me a ginger ale, and cuddle with me?"

"Of course I'll be back"

I go downstairs and grab her a ginger ale out of the fridge and go back upstairs. When I get to our room fletch and Norman are laying on the floor, I give Selena the ginger ale, I take off my shirt only leaving me in my shorts. I get in bed and lean over her giving her a tender kiss.

"Ugh why do you have to torture me like this?"

"I don't know what you're talking about" I say with a smirk

"Okay smart ass so taking your shirt off, and kissing me the way you did? Oh yeah so innocent"

"Only for you babe"

"Let's take a nap"

I wrap my arms around her and cuddle her while we drift off to sleep.
