Remember When {JJ Maybank}

The crew sailed out in the boat to the location the online map gave them. "Alright, JJ. Pin it here." John B called out to the boy behind the wheel.

"Roger that! X marks the spot."

"Alright ladies and gentlemen. To going full Kook." JB praised as he dropped the drone into the water.

Kie lowered the line into the water as Maggie held chalk in her hand. "100 feet!" Kie called out as Maggie left a mark.

The girls repeated this action, "400 feet!" Maggie turned her head back to Pope and John B who were watching the live footage.

"Tide's turning." Kie warned, the sound of thunder filling the air. John B gave directions on which way to go, Kiara moving the tether to avoid it getting caught in the propeller.

"700 feet! Come one, almost there." Maggie said, hoping that they would find the ship before the storm hit.

"900!" Maggie yelled out to the boys behind the monitor. "We're so fucked." She commented to Kie who lowered the line further, "920!"

"John B there's too much current! We're gonna lose it!" Kie and Maggie grabbed hold of the line, pulling the line towards themselves, the waves fighting back.

"Kiara!" Kie lowered the line even further, "960!" Maggie grabbed a hair tie off of her wrist, throwing it in a ponytail to keep the wind from blowing it in her face.

Without hesitating she pulled Kie's hair back and threw it into a ponytail as well. "That's Mags." She praised as she fixed her grip on the line.

"980!"

"I'm at the bottom!"

"You should be seeing something, man." John B nearly cried out.

"I know, I know! Wait, wait."

A silence fell on the group as their eyes were glued to the screen. "See anything?!" JJ asked from behind the wheel, his head turning to his friends. Maggie grinned at the screen, not able to believe what her eyes were seeing.

"It's the Royal Merchant." John B concluded.

The group watched the screen as the drone floated around the ship, all of them disappointed the moment they realized nothing was there except the wreck.

JB sighed, "It's not there. Just- just pull the drone up. Shit."

Kie, JJ, Pope and Maggie decided on going to the movie night at the park to just take some time away from this treasure hunt.

The boy stood up from their spots and began to walk away from the girls, "hey, where are y'all going?" Kie asked.

"We gotta wring it out." Maggie groaned at JJ's words, "why can't he just say take a piss?"

"You gonna hold it for each other?"

"You know JJ told me he wasn't 'homiesexual' but I think that's a damn lie." Maggie joked, earning a chuckle from Kie.
