The girls sat in the van, checking over the sketched out plan making sure that it would actually work out in the way it needed to. “So… that’s 50 feet down, and they're using 100-foot rope. So I guess this little wagon will go straight to the gold room.” Sarah and Maggie let out chuckles as Kie finished her sentence.
“Who drew this?” Sarah giggled as she eyed the drawn stick figure with ‘J.B’ written above it.
“Who do you think?” Maggie asked, turning their heads to face Pope who stared back at them. JJ walked up to the girs and dropped the gold bars onto the floor, “Kie! This better work. We can’t pawn this if there’s a giant wheat symbol on it.”
Kie picked up the large blow torch, “it’s gonna work.”

“Hell of a job melting it down, Dr. Frankenstein.” JJ said as they pulled up to the pawn shop, “like you could’ve done any better.” Kie countered. “I could have done much better. I took a wielding class.”
“JJ you took that class for a week but that was because you wanted to make your own spoon.” Maggie interjected, earning a snicker from Pope. “Hey that was the best damn thing I’ve ever made.”
“Hey, chill out, okay?” JB spoke up. “It’s easy for you to say that. You’re not the one that has to pawn this piece of shit off. How did I get this job anyway?”
“Cause you’re the best liar.”
After they walked into the store; Maggie instantly headed to the area with the vinyl section, her fingers skimming across the covers, her mind zoning out as she picked up a record that looked all too familiar. Lifting it up, her eyes skimmed across the words, ‘Queen, A Night At The Opera’.
She got a stinging sensation in her heart as she pulled out the record. Her father used to play this when they ate dinner together. When they were done her mother would wash the dishes and sing along and her father would teach her how to slow dance. He would let her stand on his toes as they waltzed around to ‘Love Of My Life’. Her mother would blast ‘Seaside Rendezvous’ practically preforming for them.
Seeing this album made her think about how everything used to be simpler. When her family was happy. When her family was well… a family.
“Hey Mags, JJ finished talking with her, you okay? I’ve been saying your name for the last 2 minutes.” Sarah whispered to her. She quickly placed the record back into its place. “Yeah, yeah I’m okay.”

The group drove in the direction of the warehouse the lady told them to go to get their lumps of cash. JJ sat on one of the small seats, Maggie on the floor in between his legs. In one hand he held the gold, but the other was playing with her hair.
“So, they keep money out here?” Pope asked as they drove by rotten and beaten down sheds.
“That’s what she said,” JJ heard his innuendo, “ha, that’s what she said.”
“Stop.” Pope deadpanned to his friend.
“I’ve never even heard of Resurrection Drive.” Sarah spoke up from the passenger's seat. “It’s cause you’re rich.”
