Chapter Twenty Six

(Niall's P.O.V)

Darkness is all I see. Pain is all I can feel. At least I know I am not dead.  I feel a small and delicate hand take hold of mine. I knew immediatly that it was Hannah. I felt her tears dripping onto my hands. I slowly open my eyes and Hannah immediatly sees me. (Liam, Harry, and Louis are there too.)

"NIALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Hannah exclaimed, engulfing me into the largest hug I had ever recieved.

"We thought we lost you there mate." Louis said, single tear rolling down his cheeks. About ten seconds realize that Zayn is not in the room,

"Where is Zayn at?"

Liam replied sadly,

"He tried to kill himself because, he thought it was his fault you could die." 

I froze. Zayn trying to kill himself over me is unthinkable. I began to cry silently.

"Is he ok?" I ask. 

Harry replied,

"We don't know. We haven't heard anything."

I look at Hannah, who had just began to cry,

"IT'S ALL MY FAULT!!!"

I put my arms around her,

"Hannah, baby, its not your fault."

Harry, Louis and Liam all sat around the edge of my hospital bed. There is nothing any of us can do to make Hannah understand that this was NOT her fault. Just then a nurse walked into the room,

"Sorry to interupt."

I replied,

"It's ok. Whats up?"

She sighed quickly and said, sympathy in her tone,

"Zayn is currently in the ICU. The knife pierced the bottom right chamber of his heart. The damage done is extensive. The knife had the seraded edges on it which mad the cut uneven. The damage is bad enough that he is going to need a transplant to be able to survive.

(HANNAH'S P.O.V) 

I feel like my heart has just split in two. Knowing that Zayn is going to die without this transplant  makes me feel like somebody is ripping my heart out of my cheast. The nurse told us that Zayn was in room D21 if we wanted to see him. All of us got up except Niall, (Who wasnt allowed to come with us to visit Zayn),

"We will facetime you so you can see him." Liam said to Niall (A/N: NIAM SHIPPING XD )

He nodded. Then the four of us headed into Zayn's hospital room. When we got in the room, I gasped in fear. Zayn had loads of different machines that he was hooked up to. He had ten diffent medicines going through his I.V. His chest was wrapped in layers upon layers of bandages. Ihe has one of those breathing tubes up his nose like Hazel does in TFIOS. It makes me really sad seeing Zayn like this. Louis sets his hand on my shoulder as Harry and Liam take a seat in the chairs next to Zayn's bed. I quickly shake Louis hand off of me. This is all to much for me. I walk out if the room. I sit on the floor right outside the door and cry. One of the most important people in my life could die thanks to me. My heart is crushed. Liam comes out of the room and sits next to me,

"Hey Kiddo, you ok?"

I reply,

"No I am not OK. This is all my fault Liam."

(LIAM'S P.O.V) 

Hannah still thinks this is all her fault and its not.

"Hannah Marie Tomlinsion don't blame yourself for this. Its not even close to being your fault."

She looks up at me, tears in her eyes,

"Will he be ok?"

I said, pulling her into my arms,

"Zayn will pull through this Hannah, I can promise you that."

Hannah gives me a weak smile. Louis and Harry wlk out of the room. Then Harry says,

"Lets go home."

Me and Hannah get up and then we all go home, Its an hour ride home and its completly silent the whole way home. Hannah had fell asleep in my arms. When we got to the house, it was 11:00pm. I carry Hannah up to room and tuck her into bed. As I walk out of her room, I think to myself,

"I hope Zayn will be ok."

( FOUR WEEKS LATER.................................................................................)

(LOUIS P.O.V) 

It's been four weeks since that day. Niall was allowed to come home. Me, Niall, Harry , Liam and Hannah are all sitting in the livingroom watching Hannah's favorite movie Warm Bodies when my phone went off. It was the hospital calling

"Hello." (Louis)

"We have news on Zayn." (Hospital)

"What's the news?" (Louis)

"Zayn's gone." (Hospital)

"WAIT......... What do you mean?" (Louis)

"Zayn is missing from the hospital. He is not in the hospital." (Hospital)
