Trickster Wolf

Chapter One

 Scarlett's POV

Waking up in the morning is a pain, especially when you wake up to your phone because your friend is telling you to hurry up and get your butt to school. I hate going to school, seriously its worse when you don't need to go because you finished ages ago, but I get somewhat forced to go to school by two different people, sometimes life is not fair, wait life is never fair. I should probably mention that I am a werewolf, so ya know I go to a school for werewolves, which is great and all, but it can get boring when you already know everything that the teachers are teaching you.

The school really only cares if you are learning about something in class and are keeping that knowledge inside your head. Other than that, they don't care about what grade you get and if you muck about in class, but they do care if you fall asleep. Why well its simple it's because then you are not learning anything, I know what you're thinking, 'but isn't it amazing being a werewolf and being at a werewolf school' well the answer for that is yes well actually most of the time because there's a lot of sport you can do which helps me train. There's also a lot of cool stuff around the school like a gaming room and so on.

I should probably add-in that I am a rouge so I don't have a pack that I belong to which can lead me into trouble but most of the time it's pretty fun to mess with other packs. And because I am a rouge, I needed something to do so for a job I am an assassin, as well as a street fighter which helps me learn new moves and hone my ability to predict the opponent's moves. It's also fun, especially when you feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins and throughout your body.

And in case you were wondering if I have a mate, yet the answer is no I haven't and if I am being honest with you, I don't need one I am doing fine on my own. Plus, if they found out I was an assassin that killed their own kind and others they would probably hate me and reject me as fast as they could. I don't need one any way they would probably make me stop and get in my way, and if it was an alpha first of, I would say I am unlucky because they are so needy and they just want you to be the perfect little mate they were promised. The problem about what I think about them is that my wolf Mist thinks pretty much the opposite of me because she thinks I just need to give them time and all of that.

Anyway, that's enough about me time to get back to what's happening now, as I looked down at the time on my phone I saw that I needed to get my butt to school and fast if I didn't want another phone call from Maxine telling me to hurry up and that I am late. when I arrive at school, I see that I am running a little late because everyone is in class. I walk to my first class and open the door to lean on the door frame, so Mrs Hatice knows I have arrived, I have to wait by the door because she doesn't like us walking in and sitting down like we were there the whole time. Once she finally notices me, I get yelled at and told to sit down and figure out what I missed in the first few minutes of the lesson.

Sitting down in my seat I got everything I needed out I looked up and rolled my eyes as to what was on the board. I already knew everything about world war 2, so instead of working I started to draw in my book instead because it was more fun then re-learning everything, I know about it. Then abruptly out of the blue the school's sirens start to blear throughout the halls and classrooms, everyone in the classroom bolted out the door and into the hallways it was chaotic everywhere. Once I finally made it out of the classroom and into the hall, I saw that it was a murder scene, blood was splattered along walls and small pools of blood next to dead and alive people everywhere. I frantically looked around to see if I could spot my friend once, I did, I only saw her for a few seconds before she was part of the wave of people flooding down the stairs to get out of the building.

I tried to follow her down the stairs but couldn't because of the number of people pilling down the stairs to get to the exit.

I looked around and saw something that could help me find her and help her out of this mess whatever it was. I needed to save my only friend I have ever had. I weaved through the bundles of people to race to the top of the building so I could get to the roof. I barged through the door knocking most of it off of its hinges and not caring if it couldn't be used again. Running to the edge of the building I looked down scanning the area to see who was attacking my school as I was looking around at the wolf pack that was slaughtering my classmates and teachers, I look straight into the eyes of the alpha and he locks eye contact with me. I felt as though I was trapped in his piercing deep sea blue eyes, while he looked at me with a menacing glare that could frighten a person lifeless, except me. I hardened my glare showing no submission and that I was not going to back down.
