Scarlett's POV

Boredom has taken over the space as anything that I could have done to annoy or do is now mundane it use to be fun to rile up the boys but it's just dull now. Also, the recreational building is now boring and the pool because there's nothing fun to do in it and hardly anyone goes in it. I've stooped to a new level of being lazy, I have morphed into a couch potato.

Luckily, I will have something to entertain me, and that will be watching my targets struggle to life as I take it from them. all weapons are cleaned and sharpened, and my suite is clean with some weapons already attached to it ready and waiting for me to slip its protective leather skin on.

All I have to do is wait for Darius and Mike to finish getting their stuff ready. I was up before the sun getting everything ready for the long day ahead of me. I set up all the equipment for Mike to use while I leave to find them again and pounce at any opportunity, I get to take them on when there unaware.

Setting off into the streets I go back to the warehouse figuring that they would still be doing their business there due to the bug picking up some activity the other day. Which most likely meant they haven't found the bug yet. There is a possibility that they could have set up a trap and used the bug against us but I'm not willing myself to think that will happen.

Busily people push past none noticing the slight shine of silver in the light that reflect off of my legs as I walk. My jacket not quite hiding the whole blade as it peeks out when I move. Striding faster wanting to move out from people's line of sight. I quickly sidestep into a side street manoeuvring around all the small stands set up and some of the fallen merchandise. I reach a drainpipe scaling it up onto the roof to see the warehouse in front of me. I ready myself and take of into a sprint jumping off of the building and easily slipping into an open window. Scanning the room, I see that all of the human blood bags are gone as well as most of the machines packed up.

Growling out my frustration I jump down from the metal walkway landing softly onto the ground, it looks like they haven't been here for awhile and the only thing I can pick up is a smell of magic that still lingers in the air. It smells dark and like something rotten meaning they have been using dark magic which is starting to mess with my sense of smell. It blocks out all other scents, quickly I walk into the conference room to find a small note on the table with my bug on it.

'Looking for where we have gone, it took us long enough to find your little friend but after all it will take you much longer to find us.'

A single drop of blood has dried up on the paper, smelling it, I can tell it doesn't belong to anyone of them. Bastards, thinking they can get away with all of this, there's going to be hell to pay and I won't stop until they are all dead. Brutally murdered.

From scouting them out I have a faint idea that they would still be in the area hiding and waiting for me not be able to track them down. I can't wait to see how this hunt will go down.

I pick up Mike and Darius talking about the situation and telling me to think about this before acting, ignoring them I walk out the door and find a slither of their scent. Mike and Darius start arguing about something, but I turn off the earpiece and run after the trail. Tracking it down to an abandoned building, I step up to the edge and look down at my targets. Taking note that there are five instead of the original four, oh this will be great new to tell my boss.

None of them suspect that I'm about to pounce on my prey. Lowering myself on the ledge I keep enough cover with the shadows of other buildings and as night creeps over the sky. Watching carefully as they move around the small alley like sewer rats scurrying around looking for scraps. They gather around a small barrel that has a fire burning in it as the youngest witch casts a spell that causes the fire turn into an oily black flame. They stare mesmerised at it as they watch whatever it shows them, that I can't see from this distance. Suddenly two small thumps sound next to me, looking behind me I see Mike and Darius standing with their hands-on knees looking puffed as they slowly regain their breath. When Mike looks up, I make hand signals and he instantly looks apologetic and quickly glances at Darius indicating it was his idea.
