You had tucked the kids in bed and closed their door while leaving their night lights on. I jumped into the bed with my face into the pillow and mumbled something.
You chuckled and laid down next to me before pulling me into your arms.
I immediately snuggled into your chest and closed my eyes. It felt nice being in your arms and feeling you embrace me.
"Are you gonna go to work tomorrow?", I asked. You nodded your head and stroked my hair softly before answering: "Yeah. What about you?" I just nodded a little.
*Well if that's the case, I guess we should sleep then.", you said before turning the lights next to our bed off. I turned away and took my phone out to watch some videos instead of sleeping. "Nahh. I'll stay awake for a li- nooo give me my phone back"
"Hun, it's really late and you always complain about not getting enough sleep so please do both of us a favor and sleep"
I imitated you a little annoyingly and closed my eyes.
"Come a little closer dummy", you grinned and pulled me closer to you.
And after a while we fell asleep.
