When Should We Start?

"Kids?", You asked a little surprised but immediately let your lips form into a big smile.
"Yeah, I mean... we've been together for so long now so...why not try it right? We're financially stable, got food and a house. There is only one thing left and that's a mini version of us", i giggled a little and looked at you.
We've always wanted kids but I was unsure if I was ever ready to be a parent, let alone you.
You nodded and tilted your head a little to look at me better. "Okay but...are you ready to have one this time? I've always wanted a little family with you.", you grinned and held my hands tightly while waiting for an answer.
I smiled and gave you a peck on the lips. " I am. I even talked to my friends who have kids for advise and stuff. That's probably not enough bu-", you broke my sentence with a chuckle and stroked my cheek with your right hand softly. "When should we start?"
