"Bucky. Bucky Barnes,"
"Sounds like a gentleman," Olivia winked and led me out of the store.
Is it even a store? We just kind of employed ourselves to help others to free shopping. Oh if only it was like that in the real world. I would have such a nice closet filled with everything I actually can see myself wearing. Too bad the cute stuff is either expensive or out of my reach.
"I'll see you soon for coffee!" I yelled before the door closed.
I saw Olivia give a thumbs up and I happily walked back to the apartment to touch up my appearance. I decided on a half-up messy bun and a natural makeup look. I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror, when I'm not a sweaty mess I can pull my looks together. Pretty hot for being dead ;)
I slipped back into my heels and gained a few more inches which took a little to get used to. I'm a short person and there's nothing I can do to change that sadly. Soon enough six had rolled around and I had to stop watching my Netflix show. I put my room key in the small black bag and slung it around my shoulder, I am now officially ready for my first date.
I opened the door expecting to meet him at the restaurant but instead, Bucky was leaning against the hallway.
"How long were you waiting?" I tilted my head.
"A few minutes,"
He got up and faced me with a smile, "Wow doll, you look amazing,"
Bucky was dressed in a casual suit with a black tie.
"And you look dashing yourself,"
He extended his right arm and I looped mine as we made our way to the pasta place. Tonight was a little colder than the day so hopefully after our meal it won't be too bad.
"Table for two please," He said to the entrance girl.
"Sorry, we're all full for tonight,"
"Oh, thanks anyway!" He offered a small smile and I followed him outside.
"Sorry about that..." He started.
"It's okay Buck, it doesn't have to be perfect as planned,"
"But you deserve perfect," He wrapped me into his arms and rested his head in the crook of my neck.
"How about we grab some Burger King and take it up to that hill over there," I suggested and pushed Bucky away.
"If that's what you want, doll,"
I could tell Bucky felt like the night was ruined, but tonight is my mission to make him realize as long as I'm with him nothing will be ruined. He reached out his left hand for me to hold but quickly changed to hold his right arm out. I completely ignored his outstretched hand and laced my fingers through his metal ones.
"You-" He started.
"Buck you know I love your metal arm, right? You don't have to refrain from using it,"
"Are you sure? I feel like you'll be scared or something,"
"Be scared of you? Never Bucky, never,"
A huge smile adorned his face as we started our journey to the fast-food place.
"You know, I think really like you," I mumbled as I leaned against his shoulder for a little bit of extra warmth.
"Are you cold?" He asked noticing my new behavior.
Before I could answer he had let go of my hand and shrugged his jacket off. I pulled it on and grabbed his hand immediately after, I never want to let go of him.
"Thanks,"
"Anything for you, doll," He whispered, "and I really like you too,"
