A few weeks have passed and not a word from Bucky. I met up with my family yesterday and that went smoothly, but I've been living with Briza for the meantime. I'm trying to find a job but apparently some virus made things difficult a few years ago so it's tougher now.

Briza and I were watching Death Note when someone knocked on the front door.

"I'll get it," I said and removed the blanket off of me.

I pulled open the wooden door and saw a man with short brown hair.

"I'm Agent Coulson from SHIELD, we've heard about you YN,"

"Me?"

"We also heard your friend here has beaten a gang that took over NYC last month?"

"Briza!" I glared and she shrugged.

"SHIELD decided we want you two to be agents,"

I smiled, "Seriously?"

"Seriously,"

I threw my clothes into the black bag with a smile, I can't believe it's happening, we're actually agents...

Now that we were packed, Coulson drove us upstate to meet our new team.

"Who are we meeting again?" Briza questioned as we pulled into some fancy venue.

I noticed the huge 'A' logo on the front.

"I think the Avengers,"

"Oh shit-"

She excitedly exited the car right when it stopped, almost tripping in the process. I followed Coulson inside while Briza practically ran into the common room.

"These are your two new teammates, YN and Briza," He introduced us to the group.

I recognized a few familiar faces. A while ago we'd given them nicknames.

Iron Man Knockoff, apparently Hulk is Bruce and Bruce is Hulk now, Magic Tiny Dude, and Briza's superhero crush Spider-man.

I awkwardly waved and Coulson explained he prepared us rooms right next door to each other.

Once I had my new room I unpacked all my clothes and neatly put them into the black dresser. This theme seemed to be a more modern look as the walls were a crisp white and the furniture was black.

"Miss LN,"

"Hello?" I asked no one specifically.

"My name is FRIDAY, I'm here to assist you,"

"Well hello then,"

"Mr.Barnes asked to meet you on the roof,"

"Mr.Barnes? Oh god, I'll be there in a second!"

I smiled and bolted out of my room, the excitement over-whelming me. I reached the elevator and spammed the buttons to get me to my destination. After what seemed like forever the doors finally opened and revealed Bucky's back while he gazed at the wilderness in front of us.

"Bucky?" I said quietly.

He turned around with a smile and ran to me. I jumped into his arms and held him tighter than ever.

"I miss you so much!" I said into his shoulder.

"I'm sorry I took so long, doll, I was convincing SHIELD to accept you and Briza as agents,"

"Does that mean we can be partners?"

"Yes, doll,"

I grabbed Bucky's faced and kissed him, my legs wrapped around his torso and my arms now on his shoulders.

"I love your hair," I whispered when we broke apart.

"Don't tell me you're going to braid it,"

"You know you'll like it," I smirked.

I got off of Bucky and held his hand to join his city gazing. The gentle winds blowing our hair behind us.

"Bucky I never got to tell you this before," I started, my words shaky with unconfidence.

I know he'll say it back...but what if he doesn't?

He noticed my unsureness and laced his fingers with mine.

"I love you," I said and looked at him, a smile on his face.

"That's good, because I love you too,"
