Shehnaaz was having a full blown fight with her mom right now, while her dad was watching tv and was periodically laughing at them both.
Her mother was trying to tell her for the umpteenth time that she should not let go of such a good guy.....but sana wanted her to understand that she don't wanna get married to anyone for now.
Well she was lying...she wanted to marry her boyfriend...but you know how it goes right....parents ask,you pretend...same old same old.
Sana-Mom for heaven sake....han sidharth bahut acha hai,han hum bachpan se ek doosre ko jaante hain lekin mujhe abhi shadi nahi karni hai...usse kya kisi se bhi nahi karni hai.
Mom-Aur kya chahiye tujhe meri amma....ldka ache ghar ka hai,itni achi job hai...hum family ko ache se jaante hain aur sbse bdi baat tera bachpan ka dost hai.
Sana*annoyed*Yar yahi toh baat hai....main aur wo chaddi pehan ke bahar mitti khaya karte they mom...usse kaise shadi karlun...pati type feel aayega hi nahi ekdum...main ni.
Sana was really not okay with marrying someone she never looked in the light of a potential lover or husband...for her sidharth was the "oye chal daru pila" wala dost.
Sidharth was one of her closest friends, you know a boy that you can have all sorts of conversations and do all sorts of stuff without getting a reminder of their toxic masculinity and testosterone.
I mean...wo sana ki maa se better khana bna leta hai.He takes care of everyone around the house and above all...aaj tak ek bhi faltu harkat nahi ki hai...sidharth is an adarsh ladka in totality.
He smokes sometimes but that was also not his addiction.

Dad-Yar tum log plz bahar jaake sar maaro...main kbse ye tv pe apna horoscope dekhne ki try kar raha hun...kuch sunai nahi de raha tumhari behas ke chakkar mein.
Mom was staring at him and said
"Han bahut bdhiya....isko smjhana mat...yahan tv mein bhavishya dekh lo apna....main btati hun bhavishya....aapne beti ko smjhaya nahi isliye usne ki kisi bekar insan se shadi aur biwi ne tang aake chod diya ghar...ab wo insan is ghar mein akela rehta hai..aur deewaron se kehta hai k suno ek cup chai pila do....smj mein aaya".
Sana's father stood up from his seat immediately and said
"Sana beta...koi aur ladka psand hai toh bta na ....we will talk to the family"
Sana turned helplessly towards her father.
"Wah papa...aap bhi...aapko yaad hai jab school k baad coaching ke liye gyi thi toh kya keh ke bheja tha aapne...k kisi ldke se chonch ldai toh taange tod denge teri....toh fir ab kahan se ldka....ek toh sahi time pe kuch karne ni diya ab pressure dene ka kya fayda...main ni khel ri"
She lied,ofcourse she had a boyfriend and yes she was dating him from last two years...par abhi maa baap ko bola toh usi se shadi krane mein lag jayenge...aur uski job lgne mein abhi time hai bhai...career bhi toh dekhna hai....she cannot marry him when he is still studying yar....gharwalon ko kon smjhaye.
Dad-Beta,ek age tak kaha na...jab aap bde hogye toh mom and dad aapke friends bn gye...ab thodi in cheezon pe react karenge...btao...is there someone else you would like to marry???
Her father couldn't care less about her marriage discussion,he was just engaging to calm his wife down.
Sana-No..there is no one.Abhi karni hi nahi hai na papa.
Sana's dad gave up and went into the bedroom saying
"Dono ne ek dusre ki baat na maanne ki ksm khai hai....ldo aapas mein,i am going to take a nap...toh jo jeet jaye plz sham ko mujhe chai bna ke pila dena"
