chapter 12: Are the Pieces all Together now?

(CONNOR'S P.O.V)

        I was still trying to process everything that was going through my head. How could this girl who is always happy and joyful be so broken inside? She always has a smile on her face and never in a million years would I think that she would be so depressed. "You ok there Connor?" Katie asked breaking me away from my thoughts. "Yeah....." I replied. I still could'nt believe what I just heard. "But like... how?" I managed to say. "How I'm so depressed? Oh I don't know it just happened. Maybe God made me that way or maybe it's true that I'm worthless." she said while spinning her straw in her drink. "Violet you are not worthless. I'm your best friend and you are definitely not worthless. And also Jc's your boyfriend! For pete's sake if you were worthless I would of never been your friend, Jc would of probably been with another girl, and Connor wouldn't have anyone to talk to when he needs help. I mean you understand everyone and you are always there to help everyone! Trust me Violet things get better and if they don't we're here to help you. Just stop please because I don't want to see my best friend lying on a hospital bed because she tried to kill herself!" Katie exclaimed. Thank God that no one was at this Starbucks except for the workers, they were probably all at school or something. Violet just looked down on her sleeves. Jc hasn't said anything either. I wonder what's up with him.

(JC P.O.V)

*Flashback to 7th grade* 

I finally asked my crush out. I've liked her ever since the beginning of 7th grade. When I got home I collapsed into my bed. I can't believe I could finally call her mine. I couldn't stop smiling for some reason. She perfect in every way. Her smile, her hair, we like the same music, we play the same sports, she's on the girl's soccer team. But her best feature has to be her HAZEL EYES! God those eyes make me die. She always looks so happy.

 *Four hours later*

I get a text from Katie saying

From Katie: "I have to tell you something important to tell you call me ASAP!"

 I called Katie and she answered on the second ring which was surprising because she never answer.

 K: "Hello?"

J: "Hey what did you have to tell me?"

K: " Well now that you and Violet are going out there are some things I should tell you. Violet has severe depression and anxiety. So that means she is very fragile so if you say any mean stuff to her she can take it really personally. So what I'm trying to say is try not to make her feel bad about herself."

J: "Why would i say anything bad about her she's literally perfection"

K: " Well you told me about your anger issues and I was just warning you"  

J: " ok. Well ill see you at school tomorrow. bye"

K: "Bye"

After that conversation I felt like I needed to tell Violet about my anger issues but I didnt want her to think that I was some weirdo that would flip her off with the middle finger every five seconds. So I just decided to keep that secret for later.

*End Of  Flashback*

(Katie P.O.V) 

Connor and I decided to make the frozen pizza we bought from the store because we were really hungry and my mom and dad had to leave unexpectidly so there was no food in the fridge. Connor forgot to preheat the oven and I swear we were waiting for about an hour. When Connor noticed he quickly pressed the "preheat" button. After waiting for a bit the oven finally beeped and we put the pizza in. We started to watch Mean Girls, Then the pizza was done cooking. We waited for it to cool a little bit and then started taking slices. We were so hungry that we ate the entire pizza. The movie ended and Connor fell asleep on the couch, I put a blanket over him and went off to my room. I fell asleep instantly......
