chapter 3: Where am I?

KATIE'S P.O.V 

        I woke up to the smell of cooked eggs. I saw a face... It was Connor with a plate of eggs. "Good morning!" he said to me as I was getting up from the couch. "Morning?" I replied with a bit of confusion. He told me about how I fell asleep on his couch as I was eating eggs. After a while of more funny jokes he showed me around his house (it was a HUGE house). Then I got a text from Violet saying..

From Violet: "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU??? YOUR PARENTS ARE GONNA KILL YOU!!"

Shit, I completely forgot about them! I replied to Violet saying...

To Violet: "Oh crap! Can you pick me up from Connor's house?!"

        After sending the text, I told Connor I had to go because it was an emergency. I thanked him for the nice breakfast and rushed out of his house. Luckily Violet was already parked in front of his house.I ran to the car and told her to hurry to my house. 

        When we arrived to my house Violet told me good luck and I could already feel my hands shaking of nervousness. I quickly got the hidden key from under the mat and unlocked the door. Once I got inside, I already saw my parents sitting on the couch waiting for me. They gave me the pissed off face and asked for an explanation. I told them I had fallen asleep at Violet's house after the movies. Luckily they believed me and told me to just call them next time. Then I went into my room and called Connor. He answered on a 3rd ring and asked how it went with my parents. I asked him how did he know and he replied with one word 'Violet'. I should have known....
