chapter 19: Another dreadful day

(JC P.O.V)

After I kissed Katie she left and it was kinda awkward but I liked it and I could tell she liked it too.

**********next day************

(Violet p.o.v)

Today was Monday. I hear my alarm ringing and i sigh as i get up. I decided to head to the bathroom to start to get ready. When i enter the bathroom the first thing i see was me in the reflection of my mirror. I cringe at the site of me. I decide to get ready as fast as i can trying to avoid the mirror. For some reason ever since I was little i hated the sight of me with the exception of my eyes, I actually saw them quite pretty. Jc said he likes them. I start to apply eyeliner and light eye shadow and some chap stick. That's really all the make up I wear to school. While walking back to my room I over hear my parents shouting. I try to walk faster to my room trying to avoid the conflict. I get to my room and pick out what to wear. I decide to wear a casual long sleeve v-neck looking sweater thing with black jeans and converse and my hair in a side braid. I grab my book bag and hurry down the stairs and leave the house. my parents would not stop fighting. I get in my car and drive to school. the first thing i see was kiana talking to Jc and laughing. I decide to stay in the car until the bell rings. The bell rings and i see everyone entering the school including JC and kiana. I walk into my first period and I sat next to Katie. "This going to be a long day" I said to myself.

**********Fast forward to the end of the school day**********

Finally there were only a couple minutes left of class and the afternoon announcements came on on the P.A. "Good afternoon Teachers, Students and Staff" ughhh it my stupid assistant principal whos voice I've heard a million times. I don't really pay attention to the anouncments because most of them are about how you should behave and no violence and stuff like that. But one announcement caught my eye. "Attention all couples! As you know that Valentine's Day is coming up and that means we will be having our annual Couples Dance! Tickets are onsale now for $5 each available during A and B lunch. That is all for now and please be sure to stay safe and remember Violence is NOT the answer!" After that the bell rung to end school. When I left the class i decided to go to the bathrom. When I left the stall to wash my hands i see Kiana and her "group" looking in the mirrors and talking slack about people. I walk to the paper roll thing and rip off some paper and dried my hands. "So the dance is coming up. Who you gonna ask Kiana?" one of the girls asked. "I'm probably gonna ask out JC". "the guy who broke up with that whore Violet?" Wow apperantely they forgot i was here. "Yeah that one" I was seriously abou to punch her but I walked away.

When I finally got home from this crazy day, Katie invited me to her house. She invited me because me, Connor, and Katie thought it was time for Connor to go to his house and talk to his parents.

When we got to Connor's house, we all got out of the car and decided to ring his door bell instead of just barging in. Connor's parents answerd on the second ring. "Oh my god your here!" Connor's mom said as she hugged him tightly. "Come in, Come in!" Connor's mom, Lola said as she was basicly pushing us in. Lola kept on asking us if we wanted food of any sort and we said no because we were just coming in for a few seconds and then we were gonna leave.

(CONNOR'S P.O.V)

When we rang the door bell I was really nervous because I really didnt know what to expect from my mom. She opened the door on the second ring and screamed "Oh my god your here!". she then hugged me tightly and told me and my friends to come in. When I walked in it felt like I never left. The house still smelled like mom's cooking and my room door has been closed since I left. "Mom we need to talk" I said as we both walked into the kitchen. " Yes, I know we left off on the wrong foot and well I wanted to know if we could start fresh again and you could live here again?" she said. "Yes mom, Ill come and live here again under one condition" I said back to her. "What is it?" she said in a worried tone. "You cant judge me for who I am" I exclaimed "Of course!" She said as we went into another hug. After a while of catching up with my mom, me, Violet, and Katie left....
