chapter 16: Wrists Are For Bracelet's, Not For Cutting

(VIOLET'S P.O.V)

I woke up and got ready. I was wearing the PTV World Tour shirt, black ripped up jeans, and converse. Then I drove to school.

When I got to school I saw Katie and quickly ran to her. She was going to be the first one to know and the only because I didn't want to tell Jc or Connor. "KATIE" I yelled. She saw me, grabbed my wrist and she pulled into the closest bathroom.

K:VIOLET

V: WHAT

K: I cant believe you kissed Kellin Quinn!

V: How did you know?

K: It's all over the news!

V:Shit.... How will Jc act?

K: I don't know just pray for the best I guess

Then we walked to our first period class and met up with Jc and walked inside. We had to take a test and it was worth a grade so I was kind of nervous.

After we took the test (which I was really confident with) we went to our second period which we had to take another test in... sadly.

After that test (which was pretty hard) we went to lunch. I had a burger with fries, Katie had a salad, Jc had the same thing as me, and Connor had the same thing as Katie. After lunch we spent the rest of the day taking tests.

(KATIE P.O.V)

As I got home with Connor, I greeted my parents who were ok with Connor staying (thankfully).

I started doing my homework. And then suddenly got a text from Violet saying

From Violet: "it's over"

To Violet: "What do you mean"

From Violet: "me and Jc"

To Violet: " Oh... um well do you want me to sleep over?"

From Violet: " Yes please"

To Violet: "ok coming over now"

I then told Connor that I was going to stay at Violets house and he told me that he was going to sleep over at Jc's. I walked to her house since it wasn't that far away.

Once I got there Violet's mom opened the door and told me "she's up in her room". Thank you I said as I rushed in.

When I got to her room she wasn't there so I decided to look in the bathroom. I saw her crying standing right in front of the sink... she was about to cut again. I ran in and quickly took the blade away from her. "I CANT DO THIS ANYMORE I WANT TO DIE" She yelled as I took her and sat her on her bed. "Calm down Violet" I said as we went into a hug. She kept on sobbing and I kept telling her it was going to be okay.

After what felt like forever Violet finally calmed down and out of nowhere she says "Lets call Kellin!" I agreed and said " Sure!"

(VIOLET P.O.V)

After the 2nd ring Kellin answered and I put the phone speaker.

K: Hey.. um who is this?

V: its Violet

K: oh hey!

V: Hey!

K: so um... Did you cut again

V: Well um... I tryed to a little while ago because my boyfriend broke up with me but luckily my friend came and took the razor out of my hand so i didn't.

K: well just remember what I said...

( And at that moment I remembered what he said "wrists are for bracelet's, not for cutting" )

V: Ok

K: Well I have to go perform another show talk to you later... bye

Then I hung up...
