Chapter 18: Should I move on?

(KATIE P.O.V)
As I woke up I saw Violet with sleeves on that she wasn't wearing last night. "Good morning?" I said as I was getting up off the floor. I must have fell from the bed. I saw Violet in a corner sitting with her legs crossed. I walked up to her and asked "what's for breakfast." she responded by saying "My parents are getting a divorce". I didn't know what say... I was speechless. "what" Is what I wanted to say but no words came out of my mouth."How did you find out?" I asked when the words finally came out of my mouth. "I overheard my parents this morning when I woke up." "I'm really sorry to hear that and why are you wearing sleeves?" I asked. She started crying into my chest and said " I can't stop cutting. Jc doesn't like me anymore, and my parents are getting a divorce. So it just feels like the right thing to do." I then said "But it's not the right thing to do"

After about two hours of talking to Violet we decided to call Kellin again...

(VIOLET P.O.V)
Kellin answered on the second ring and started off by saying...
K: what's up beautiful
V: Kellin I cut again
K: why?
V: because I found out my parents are getting a divorce
K: oh... Well just remember what I said ok?
V: Yes I will and I also wanted to know if you maybe... Wanted to meet up sometime and get lunch or something?
K: That would be cool! What about next Friday we can go bowling at around 5ish
V: Sure!
K: Alright I have to go now but I'll text you the details.
V: ok bye
K: bye
Then I hung up...
After about 2 more hours of talking and laughing Katie left...

(JC P.O.V)
After Connor left I texted and said...
To Katie: "Hey Wanna come over?"
After about five seconds I got a text from her saying...
From Katie: "On my way!"
I then started getting dressed into some nice clothes and out of my pj's.
After about twenty  minutes of waiting Katie was here. She knocked on my door and I opened it. "Hey" she said very softly. "Hi" I said as we walked up to my room. Katie started off the conversation by saying "so... I heard about you and Violet" I then said "Yeah I don't really want to talk about it" "Oh... ok" she said awkwardly. Then there was this strange moment where me and Katie just stared at each other. She had the most beautiful eyes. I always wanted to tell her that but I didn't want it to be awkward between us. But then we went into a kiss my mind was saying no but my heart was saying yes. We kissed for about a good twenty seconds. Then we both pulled away.

After the kiss I felt something... something I never felt before...
