(U/N) POV
I'm the woods...alone, being the lonely sucker I am. No one ever seems to stick around. Many people say it's because I don't have a heart. that I'm just too cold toward other people
Maybe they are right. Maybe I have no heart
"Pens!" I hear a distant voice yell out
"Pens!" I say out loud confused. I follow the sound and I came across three big ape looking things about to kill this young girl.
"Oy! Dumb apes," I yell out, they stop in their tracks to look at me
"Yea....talking to you!" I say in a mocking voice. They go ape shit crazy and run to me to attack
"The first mistake," I say as I dodge their attacks
"Was attacking girly over there," I say as they once again try to attack me. I did a few rolls to avoid them
"The second mistake, was you attacking me," I say as I look at them
"The final mistake.....was reminding me of school by saying pen," I say as I take a giant leap forward and slash the three monster apes in pieces with my one handed short sword.
"Pens, oh god do I hate pens," I mutter to myself as the apes scatter into crystals
I take notice of the girl sitting in the dirt holding something that just wasn't there
"You ok, or am I gonna need to bale?" I ask her
The girl lies there, looking at a feather.
"What's this?," I say as I pick the feather up, the girl suddenly grabs it and holds it to her chest
"It was Pina," she says crying
"Pina?" I ask confused
"Pima was my friend," she says teary-eyed
"Your friends with a feather!" I yell out
"No! She was alive a moment ago!" She says angrily
"Wowowowowowowowowowowoow, don't get mad at me ok, not my fault you cuddling a feather," I tell her
"I'm a beast tamer ok...Pina was my companion," she says sadly
"Ohhhh, a beast tamer......if I remember correctly, I bought this flower that revives beast," I say going into my inventory
"What... really!" She says with a huge smile
"Yea, here it is," I say taking the flower out
She takes it and combines it with the feather, it emits a bright light and outcomes a light blue dragon looking thing
"Pina!" The girl says hugging it
"Ok, now you owe me 5 million col," I tell her
The reunion was short-lived, she looked at me in horror
"What do I look like...a charity," I say with a deadbeat face
Her face drops
"I don't have 5 million col," She says
"Ok then, you can earn it helping me out with quests," I tell her
"Really?" She asks
"Yea, I don't see why not," I tell her
"Thank you!" she says as she bows her head
"Anyway, the clock is ticking," I say as I walk away and she follows
"By the way? What's your name," I ask her
"It's Silica, what's yours?" She asks
"(U/N)" I say as I start walking
6 months later
"Pina.Pina.Pina.Food,Pina.Pina.Pina.Food....haha. Pina food,"
Slap!
"What was that for!" I wake up to scream at Silica for slapping me
"You were calling Pina food again!" She yells at me
"What! Seriously have you never dreamt of having Dragon meat," I tease her
"No," she says with a disgusted face
"I'm joking, Pina is fine...after all she heals me for free," I say
"Hmph," Silica says looking away
"Anyway, you pay off your debt today," I say as she looks relieved
"I bet your just excited to get away from me eh," I say," like everyone else is,"
"Actually about that? I was wondering if we could continue to party with each other," she asks
"You're not teasing me are you," I ask her
"No," she says with a blush
"I guess so," I tell her. What's the worst that can happen
"YAY," she says hugging me which causes my face to go red. I pet her head
Maybe I have a heart after all.
