Isabel and Furlan had gotten home shortly after Levi's questioning, I made it my job so avoid that man at all times, I didn't like him and I was more than sure the feeling was mutual.

"Jo!! I'm back, ya miss me?"

This girl concerned me more each day, how could someone so optimistic live somewhere like this. Although it could be refreshing, it became annoying after a few minutes of the bubbly atmosphere.

Jo? That's new.

I nodded and smiled at her greeting, making my way over to let them know I'd be staying under sunshine's comands. I'm sure they noticed I was not too in love with the idea because Furlan gave Levi a look of irritation. I ignored it when Isabel suddenly embraced me, patting me on the back with force.

"Big bro really is the best, letting you stay is for the best! Not to mention I have a sister now!"

Her words made me frown and gently pull away from her embrace.

I didn't have siblings, nor did I want them. Family is like dead weight, you're better off without them. I backed away from Isabel and gave Furlan a small nod to acknowledge his presence. He gave one back and signaled me to go outside with him for a second.

I sighed as I followed hum back out the door, gently shutting it behind me.

"Josephine I'm sorry about Levi, he can be a bit inhumane."

He shuffled his feet on the concrete below him.

"However I feel like staying with us is best for now, from what I know you're on yo-"

I cut him off by opening the house door and making my way inside, an annoyed look now rested on my face as I grew tired of the same statement said to me on repeat. I felt a body approach from behind me, but I didn't move as I knew it was just Furlan coming back in.

"Is there anything I need to learn? You guys are well known around here and I know you don't go running around without any gear."

I looked at Levi, in the end he made the choice so he had to be the one to respond.

"Have you heard of 3DMG?"

I smirked at his response, but soon wiping it off my face when he looked at me.

"The MP uses it, I'm familiar with it."

I said with a calm tone to my voice.

"We'll train you and depending on that you stay or get kicked out. You can't be with us if you can't move."

Furlan moved from behind me, he approached Levi and put a hand on his hip before sighing.

"Levi can we talk? This isn't like you."

I furrowed my brow.

What did he mean? All I've known from Levi is that he's selfish and that he takes people in for his own use, but for Furlan to say that spikes my curiosity. I tilted my head and Isabel patted me on the back.

"Levi normally never lets anyone in, he normally kicks them out and scolds them for dirtying his house, but for some reason he didn't with you."

She whispered, making me subconciously relax before tensing up again when I thought deeper into it.

Is he up to something? Or is there something human in him?

"Isabel, how'd you meet sunshine over there."

She caught my sense of sarcasm on sunshine and let out a small giggle, leading me into her room. She sat me down on her bed, shortly sitting next to me after shutting the door.
