Amy Rose (Boom) x (Male) Reader

Hangout Pt. 1

Over the next couple of weeks, Amy (with the help of Tails, of course) helped nurse you back to health. Your bruises went away, so you could see more clearly, but due to the fracture in your nose, you were still a little disoriented. So, when you would get out of bed, Amy would be kind enough to help you guide your way through the hallways. Since it was believed best that you would stay in your house a little while until your injuries fully recovered, Sonic and the others would visit you daily. You'd talk about your day, the things that you did, how much you thought your health was improving. Obviously, you all grew to become close friends, but you especially felt closest to Amy. You've already admitted to yourself that you had some romantic feelings for her, but you didn't feel brave enough to tell it to her because you weren't sure if she felt the same way, if she was in love with someone else, or if she even felt it was right. Little did you know, Amy felt exactly the same: she was growing feelings for you, but she was unsure. She also had questions: were you in a relationship? Is it right to feel this way? Which man in her life did she truly love? You both seemed to be in quite a pickle.

A couple of weeks have passed since the incident, and Tails gave you one final check-up. "Okay, it seems your nose fracture has fully healed. You're good to go, (Y/N)." he said. You removed the cast that covered your nose, and left the couch. You turned around and looked at Tails and Amy. "I'd like to thank both of you, for being kind enough to care for me these past few weeks. I greatly appreciate it." you said. Tails and Amy looked at each other. "(Y/N). You saved Amy from a soccer ball. You risked your well-being for someone you cared about. That was extremely heroic. And you have been an extremely nice neighbor even though you didn't know us well. We feel that you deserved our help for what you did." Tails said. Amy nodded to his comment. "And I greatly appreciate your help nonetheless." you said. 

Tails left the house to do whatever he was going to do. Amy was on her way out, when you grabbed her arm. She turned around to you. "Amy, I am especially grateful for your help. You took care of me, and was there for me, even when I didn't feel it was necessary. You are a good nurse, and a very good friend." you said. You then pulled her into a soft hug, and she hugged you back. "I feel the same way, (Y/N)." she responded, and she left.

Over the course of the following week, now that you were better, you decided to spend time with your new friends, and get to know them better. You took notes of things you learned about them. The things you learned were very useful. Your list was almost complete.

Amy:...

You decided to organize a day where you and Amy would hang out and get to know each other better. So you wrote your letter:

Dear Amy,

It has been several weeks since we first met. It's been a rather awkward time because in saving you from that soccer ball, I had to spend 3 weeks in my house. Of course, you and Tails were there, but it wasn't the appropriate time to get to know each other. Now that I have recovered, I have spent the last week getting to learn about you and your friends. I've gotten everyone except you, so whenever you feel it's most appropriate, I thought we could spend the day together, have ourselves a PROPER introduction, and get to know each other better. No pressure, just wanting to know.

You put your note in the mailbox and waited for the response.

*a few days later*

You got a letter in your mailbox. It was from Amy. You eagerly brought it into the house, and opened it.

Dear (Y/N),

A day together would be nice. Oddly enough, I wanted to do the exact same. Hopefully you're not doing anything, because for our hangout, I'd like you to visit my house tomorrow morning at 10 A.M. sharp. I have a very fun day planned. If you can't make it, just let me know

Amy Rose

Even though the letter was short, you felt there wasn't much to say. It did make you feel good that she felt that you and her should spend the day and get to know each other. And the farewell "Love" made you blush.

(A/N) This chapter was getting too long, so it's just building up towards the actual hangout, and the actual hangout is in the next chapter. Sorry.
