when Mia Byers moved to Derry, Maine, with her twin El and their friends Will, Jonathon and Joyce, she expected the rest of the year to be fun. she didn't expect to be involved in the evil truth of the town with seven other kids.
We continue driving through the woods. We had been driving for about 5 hours. "We're almost there guys." Jonathon tells me and my best friend/non biological brother Will. I nod shyly and push my glasses up.

I look at Will and he looks back at me. I fake a smile, a skill I had mastered. I didnt want to move to Derry, Maine from our little town of Hawkins, Indiana. I didn't want Hopper to die. (HOPPER ISNT DEAD!!!! WATCH THE TEASER TRAILER!!!!!!!) I look down at my lap. And then i look at my outfit.

"Hey, you ok Mia?" Will asks. "Im fine." I say. "Ok." He says. I look out the window and prop my chin on my hand. I look into the woods. I see a clown with a red balloon and a gray outfit. I blink and it's gone as we pass by and into Derry town limits.
We pull up behind Joyce's car and the Uhaul trailer. I get out. "Well this town looks like something straight outta a horror movie. Maybe we'll die here. Wouldn't be new." I say. My twin El rolls her eyes. Jonathon opens the trailer and we each grab a few boxes to take inside. I walk inside. "Yeah. Im gonna end up dying here." I say. The house is a little bit bigger than the Byers old home. I walk in a bedroom. "GUYS!!! I CLAIM THIS ROOM!!!!!!" I yell. "OK!!" they yell back. I start unpacking my boxes and decorating.
A couple of long hours later, I finish. I step back to look at my success.
