The next day me and Mike are sitting at the table in the kitchen. "We have to wake them from this trance. Any ideas?" He asks me. My eyes widen. "You love El right? Kiss her!! Like in fairytales!!!" I say. "You think it'll work?" He asks. I roll my eyes. "Just try it." I say annoyed. "Ok." He walks up to her. "El? Wake up." He says and kisses her. I clap. A few seconds pass. Nothing. And then she wakes up from the trance and hugs Mike. "Mike!!! When did you get here?" She asks. "Yesterday. You were in a trance. Will is still in one though." He says. He turns to me. "Now your turn. It's obvious y'all like each other. Kiss him." He tells me. I immediately turn redder than a tomato. They laugh as I turn to Will. I walk up to him and stand in front of him. "Will? Please wake up....we need you. I need you..." I say. Nothing. I close my eyes and peck his lips. Nothing. One minute passes. Two. Five.
An hour later, he's still in the trance. "It didn't work....you were wrong Mike. He doesnt like me. This was stupid....." I say and start crying. "We're gonna go. Bye Mia." El says and they leave. Will still stands in the middle of the room. I get up and walk back up to him. "Please Will. Wake up. I need you here. I love you." I say. I loved him. I kiss him again. A little longer. Nothing. I hug him as tight as i can and cry. I feel arms around me. "Hey. You ok? What happened?" I hear Will's voice. "You were in a trance. So was too, but her and mike left once she was out of it. I thought I lost you Will." I tell him. He hugs me tighter. "Its ok. Im here." He says. I look at him and kiss him. "I really thought I lost you Will. I love you. Please don't let that happen again." I tell him. "I won't. I love you too Mia. I always have." He says. I smile. "Lets watch a movie. We haven't since qe got here." I say. He nods and we sit down to watch a movie. I know whatever happens here in Derry, we'll get through it. And I won't let anything hurt me, my family, my friends, or the love of my life.
