Mike meets the losers

I wake up the next morning. "Ugh....mike is coming today..." I say. Im actually really happy to see Mike, im just really sleepy. I do my normal morning routine

I get dressed and walk to the kitchen. Will and el are eating breakfast. "Hi guys. Y'all ready for mike to come today?" I ask. They ignore me. "Whatever...." I mumble and walk to the front door. I open it to see Mike about to knock. "Mike!!! Ive missed you!!" I say and hug him. "I missed you too. Where is everyone else?" He asks. I take him to the kitchen. "Guys mike is here." I say. They don't reply. "Guys?" Mile asks. Nothing. "I don't know whats wrong with them. Theyve Been acting strange since we moved. So even got mad because i have new powers and she hasn't gotten hers back." I explain.

I tell him everything that happened. He nods. "And who is Richie?" He asks. S***. "My new bff here" I say. "He's cool." I add. "Can i meet him?" Mike asks. I nod and grab my bike and head to richies with him following me.

I knock on richies door. "Open up d***wad!!!" I yell. "How do you make friends?" Mkke asks me. "I really dont know but he has a mind like mine." I say and mike nods. "Contaminated?" He asks and i hit him on the back of the head. Richie opens the door. "Aye a**wipe. This is my old friend from Hawkins. This is mike wheeler. Mike, meet richie tozeir." I say. They glare at each other. "This is the emo dumb*** I'm meeting? I know him. Hes weird." Richie says and scoffs. "At least I'm not a 4 eyes." Mike snaps back. That hurt me too. "Mike...." I say. Richie pulls me close. "See emo? You hurt her feelings too!!" He says. I get out of hos grasp as they start lunging at each other and fighting. I close my eyes and they fly away from each other. "Stop. I don't have y'all fighting!" I say. They get up. "Sorry Mia. We don't get along with each other. We're cousins." Mike explains. "It's ok-wait what?! Cousins?! Ok then." I am surprised.

Me and Mike spend the rest of the day trying to figure out whats going on with Will and El. And me getting new powers. "I got nothing. I mean it may have something to do with the strange energy of this town, and this clown you've been seeing. And you say so got mad at you and screamed at you for no reason? And then you screamed and she flew out and the door slammed closed?" He asks and i nod. "What happened when y'all found El? While I was in the upside down with Will?" I ask and he explains. Nothing like whats going on with me. "I don't understand....why is this happening to me and not El? Why me? El saved the world 3 times, not me. All I did was keep Will and I alive in the upside down. All I did was try to keep you happy while El was gone. All I did was make everything harder...why do I have new powers? El should get them." I say. Muke hugs me. "Youve done a lot of helpful things. Imagine what would have happened if you didn't help Will. Imagine what would have happened if you fifnt try to keep me happy. You've always helped. And you're like the sister I never had." He explains. "Thanks Mike. You'd be the best brother ever." I say. "You probably got new opp powers because you help us in small ways that are actually more needed than you think. And also, since youre like my sister and i love you, I'll help you through this." He explains. "Thanks Mike. I love you too. Wait. If im like your sister and El is mine,a that makes El like your sister so you're dating your sister!!" I say laughing. "No it doesn't. You need to stop thinking that deep." He says. "Never!" I say. "Wanna meet tahe rest of the losers?" "Sure." He says. "Ok then. Come on. They're at the quarry." I exolain and get on my bike.

I get to the quarry to see their bikes on the ground and hearing splashing in the water. I take off my heels and dress. "What are you doing? Arent they all boys?" "Yeah. The girl moved away a few months ago." I say in a 'duh' tone. "Then why are you undressing?!" Mike whisper yells. "I can't swim in heels and a dress can i?" I ask. "No." "Ok then. Get undressed and get ready to jump." I say. He undresses and stands by the tree. "Ready? LOOK OUT BELOW!!!!!!" I scream and jump, mike right after me. The water envelops me as I go under. I break the top right before Mike. "Hey boys." I say, their eyes wide. "Wh-wh-who is that?" Bill asks. I pull Mike forward to the losers. "This is Mike. One of my childhood besties. He's the brother I never had. He dates my twin, El." I explain. They nod. "Mike, this is Bill. Don't mind his stutter. Then there's Stan, the jew, Richie, your trashmouth cousin, ben the bookworm, mike, the homeschool, and Eddie, my neighbor and the germaphobe. Together they are the losers club!!!" I say, pointing them out and dojng jazz hands. "Ok. I'm Mike, im from hawkins. Nice to meet y'all." He says a bit awkwardly. "Why're you being awkward Mike?" I say jokingly poking him. "I'm not." He says.

We spend the rest of the day swimming and playing at the quarry before mike and I go home. "Did you have fun mike n ike?" I ask. He laughs. "You haven't called me that since 3rd grade!" He exclaims. "And? Old habits die hard." I say.
