"No...seriously...Tell me how it works...REVEAL YOUR SECRETS, WOMAN!"

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry as Bones melted down before my eyes. He'd really lost his damn mind over a towel.
"It's...literally just wrapped around my hair..." I mumbled, slowly reaching up and tugging, unravelling the linen from my head. The ginger pointed at me in shock, jabbing an unimpressed Kong in his side.
"THE HAIR WAS WRAPPED IN IT TOO! THAT'S HOW IT STAYS ON!"

Deciding to ignore him, I dropped the towel on the ground beside my chair and ran my fingers through my hair. My decision to dye it to (New H/C) had mostly been made out of boredom, but at least it may help with laying low.
"It suits you." Alex offered a compliment, and I gave him a small smile in return, opening the front camera on my phone to check it out for myself.

"Thanks. New hair, new me, I guess." I heard the front door open, but before I could even begin to panic, Shorter and Ash entered the room, both stopping to do a double take.
"Welcome to the unnatural hair crew! It suits ya." Shorter grinned at me and came to stand behind me, leaning down and motioning for me to take a photo of the two of us. Ash, however, continued into the next room, and after a few moments I heard him cuss.
"You stained the damn bathroom!"

Not my problem.

Choosing to ignore him, I snapped the pic and set my phone back down, leaning my head all the way back to look to my purple haired companion.
"So, did we get a truck?" We had already gotten Ash a gun from a man he dubbed 'The Fly', who I had mistaken for a pimp earlier that day, so if we had the truck, we were all set.

"Yeah, Mr. Lee came through, so once Ash decides it's time, we're ready." Shorter replied, patting me on the shoulder. "Depending on how it goes, we'll only be gone for a few hours, so you'll be safe here."

Wait a damn minute.

Standing up, I knocked Shorter back and made a beeline for the bathroom, not bothering to knock before I barged right in. Ash was just finishing zipping up his pants, lifting a brow when he turned to me.
"Told you you weren't housetrained."

Glowering, I grabbed the nearest item to threaten with him, which happened to be the fine-toothed comb I had used on my hair.
"And I told you I was coming with you! What makes you think that's changed?!" Scoffing at my pathetic attempt to unnerve him, Ash just leaned back against the basin, blond falling to the side as he tilted his head.

"Sorry, but the little puppy dog stays home. Don't worry, I'll make sure to leave you food and water, and to set some newspaper down for you~" Losing whatever cool I had left, I rushed at him, but it was Ash Lynx. He easy forced the comb out of my hand and wrestled me into a headlock.

"Get your pissy hands off me, you bastard! You haven't even washed them!" I barked, squirming against his surprising strength. Shorter and Eiji both stepped into the room, and the former began to approach.
"Come on, let's play nice, you two..." He tapped his friend on the arm, and I was released, and I almost got a good hit on his face. I would have if Shorter hadn't pulled me back by the shirt collar.

My frustration was a game to Ash. That was apparent when he leaned forward, smirking that damn smirk.
"I might have to get you de-barked. That constant yapping is starting to get annoying." I would say I was completely justified in kicking him in the shin, but others would likely refute that.

If Shorter hadn't picked me up and thrown me over his shoulder, perhaps I wouldn't have lived to tell the tale, but it would have been worth it.
"Put me down, you lumbering pineapple head! I'm not done with him yet!" Out through the living room and into the bedroom, Shorter tossed me down onto the bed, stepping in front of me before I had the chance to make a break for it.
