*Maki's POV*

I wonder how long Nico was sleeping for. Her sleeping face was pretty cute. I'm glad I took a picture. I smiled as I walked home.

"What are you smiling at? You look like a creep," I heard the voice of a certain raven-haired idol.

"Is there something wrong with smiling? I just happened to have a good day today," I replied.

"Anyways, you should smile more often! You look cuter that way," Nico complimented.

"In your dreams," I said, though I wish I didn't. I always thought I didn't look good when smiling. I'm really glad to hear that from Nico.

"Hmph! If you're going to be so rude, then maybe I should stop with the compliments," She commented.

I couldn't tell why, but I felt really sad when I heard that. My feelings were probably showing on my face as Nico said she was joking. Once I heard that, I felt sudden relief.

"Fufu~ Who knew the stone cold Tomato Princess would be sad over not getting compliments from me, the number one school idol!" Nico teased.

We continued walking till we had to part.

"See you tomorrow Nico," I said.

"Bye Maki! Promise me that you will smile at least once tomorrow! And let me see your smile again!" She said back. I smiled for her.

"I promise,"

"Tch, there you are. I've been looking for you," He said.

"What do you want, Kimida?" I growled.

"Chill," He smirked, "I just wanted to tell you that Nico belongs to me. So don't bother trying to take her from me."

"Fuck off. I don't care about whether you say she belongs to you," I said, "Because she's mine."

"We'll see about that..." He turned around and walked out the door. Right after, Honoka entered.

"Why was Kimida-san in the clubro-" She stopped herself when she looks at me, "Woah, you looked pissed."

"I'm not in the mood to talk," I said.

"You can take a break if you want," She said back

"Yeah, thanks. Sorry for the inconvenience," I apologised.

"No worries! How you feel is more important than practice afterall!" She grinned.

"What's up with the chatting?" The third years joined us.

"Maki is taking a break for awhile. She didn't have a good day today," Honoka explained.

"Makiiiii! You better not break the promise, even if you didn't have a good day today!" Nico said.

"Of course.." I replied.

"Oh? Maki and Nicocchi made a promise?" Nozomi smirked, "What is it~?"

"None of your business," I replied harshly as I walked out of the room.

"I guess she really didn't have a good day today," Eli commented.

*Nico's POV*

"So, what's this promise thing about Nicocchi?" Nozomi asked.

"Not much really," I said.

"That doesn't answer my question," She replied.

"Maki promised me she would smile at least once today," I answered.

"Oh? And why would she make a promise like that?" She questioned.

"I'm not actually so sure myself, " I said, switching to my idol persona, "It's probably because I'm the number one school idol,"

"Anyways, we should continue with practice," Honoka said.
