The Christmas Break was over and everyone was back. I was currently sitting in Transfiguration beside Hermione who I was partnered with.
Every Slytherin was paired with a Gryffindor and except me and Sophie, not many were happy about it.
Hermione gives a small smile and I kindly returned one. " Today, you will revise notes about what you have learnt before the Christmas break. Start now. Hand it to me with your name and house below before you leave. "
McGonagall says and sits at her desk minding her own business. I opened my book and saw the front page. There were my initials on it. I instantly flipped pages before Hermione notices.
Soon the class was over and I left in hurry handing McGonagall my parchment with a smile and nod. I met Sophie in the Great Hall and we sat in silence eating.
Third Person's Pov
Hermione got up from her seat to hand her parchment she worked on and saw that her book was misplaced with Angela's because she marked important notes in her book but this one was clean as new.
She sighed flipping pages and her eyes caught the front page. " A. M. H? " She mutters.
Could this be her? But why would she help us?
She thinks pushing the thought back to her head thinking it's not possible. She headed to the Great Hall with Harry and Ron behind her on her left and right. She noticed Angela sitting on her table silently eating.
She took a deep breath and walked towards Angela hoping Malfoy won't pick on her or even notice her but to her bad luck, he did. "What? " He asks rudely.
" What are you doing here? You peice of dirt." Pansy screeched and everyone laughed except Angela and Sophie who were glaring at Pansy.
" Shove it." Hermione said to Pansy glaring.
" Our books are misplaced. " She says turning to Angela holding her book towards her. Her eyes widen for a second but she quickly recovers.
Hermione thinks I've heard Slytherins are expert in masking their emotions and I can see why they say it.
" Here. " Angela says taking out Hermione's book and handing it to Hermione and taking her back. Hermione nods before leaving.
