I woke up the next day and waited till everyone was out of our common room except Sophie.
" So, what training? " She asks and I sighed. " To control the fire. " I said and she sighed.
" Is that even possible? " She asks and I nodded.
" It is. I used to do it before. I just lost practice. I did it last year, remember?" I said and she nodded.
" Let's start. " She says and I nodded.
" Incendio! " I said and the fireplace lit up.
" Alright. Let's try. " I said and rose my hands towards the fire. I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath and concentrating.
I opened my eyes and moved my hands and to my luck, the fire moved along with my hand movement. I smiled at it and pulled out the fire from the fireplace and made a ball from it and created many other shapes. I finally let the fire disappear and sighed.
" I think I need practice! " I said and she frowned.
" But you did it perfectly well. " She says and I chuckle.
" Well, doesn't mean I'll just leave it to that. I also have to practice some water spells, just in case. " I said and she nodded.
" Let's go! I know the best place! " I said and we ran out. We headed to the seventh floor and I sighed.
" I need the room. Please! " I muttered and a door appeared on an empty wall. I grinned grabbing Sophie inside with me and the door must have disappeared from the outside.
" Wow! How do you know about this? " She asks.
" Hogwarts, A History. It was mentioned. " I said and we walked inside.
" Alright. Can you throw fire at me? " I asked and she widened her eyes.
" Are you mad? " She asks and I sighed.
" You have to help me Soph! " I said and she thought for a few moments before nodding slightly.
" Incendio! " She says and a jet of fire cam towards me.
" Aguamenti! " I said and jet of water started coming out of my wand and I instantly roamed it around me to make a water sheild which worked and the fire disappeared. I sighed and sat down.
" Let's do it again! " I stood up and after practicing it a for a good hour or too, I got hang of it and I got quick too. After that, I practiced the spell non-verbally and guess what? I did it successfully.
